While the NFL has always been an assortment of emotions, with your favorite team losing and winning occasionally, this week’s trending Chicago Bears’ disappointment has cost far more than they have ever imagined.
By far, the biggest story of the NFL this year is Taylor Swift’s appearance during the Chief’s home game against the Chicago Bears, but the happiness of viewers who have been enjoying the game on television was short-lived.
On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs were facing the Chicago Bears on their home ground at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City. The seemingly faint hope Chicago Bears provided in their first possession disappeared completely after Kansas City cruised to an easy 34-0 in the first half. Eventually, Fox decided to switch their national broadcast to an exciting game of Cardinals vs. Cowboys to increase their viewership, and not even Taylor Swift’s appearance could keep that game on TV.
Chicago Bears vs. Kansas City Chief: What Made Fox Switch the Broadcast?
The game, which took place on Sunday at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, began with the Chicago Bears providing a glimmer of hope for their fans during their first possession.
However, in the first quarter alone, Kansas City Chief achieved a lead of 7-0, but the gap gradually rose as they scored another 20 touchdowns by the second quarter, leaving the Chicago Bears in the dust.
While it is expected of the losing team to disappoint their fans who are watching it live, the game even disappointed the FOX channel, which has been broadcasting it live since the beginning.
Following their disheartening game, which only added to their disastrous season, Fox switched away from the game to a more engaging one that involved the Cardinals and Cowboys after 30 minutes.
What’s even more interesting is the fact that the global sensation and the most adored modern female singer, Taylor Swift, attended the game and appeared to be sitting in the rumored lover Travis Kelce’s box along with Travis’ mom, Donna.
When Travis Kelce scored a touchdown in the third quarter, Taylor Swift showed her support by yelling in celebration, “Let’s f***ing go!” Unfortunately, Fox swapped the game even before the fans watching it live on television could witness the goddess of Swifties.
It implies that the gameplay delivered by the Chicago Bears is so bad that even Taylor Swift’s influence can’t save from keeping the channel open. Nonetheless, fans who are fortunate (or is it, really?) enough to catch the game in the stadium enjoyed the visit of Taylor Swift to their game.
How Are People Reacting to Fox Switching the Chief’s Game?
Given the disastrous loss the Chicago Bears encountered, it met with a lot of criticism, but Fox switching the game while it was still in broadcast spiced things up even more.
Several NFL fans shared their sarcastic opinions on how the Chicago Bears’ game disappointed the viewers. Here are some crazy reactions that you may find funny and reasonably sad.
So, did you watch the game between the Chicago Bears and Kansas City Chiefs last night? Or were you more interested in the Cardinals vs. Cowboys game?

We had people over to watch the Chiefs. We were not pleased!
Fox ex should be fired …………………………..taking away my liberty to watch what I want. Must be a democrat.
Furious!! And this is not about Taylor Swift! Watching the Chiefs play is the whole reason I tuned in. Then you have the audacity to decide on my behalf that the game isnāt competitive enough to continue! Itās not just about the end result, but about watching the game itself. Extremely disappointing!!
