Pugh’s buzzed hair and the giant black feathered headpiece made quite a statement at the Met Gala 2023 event. Last week, the Midsommar gal teased her Met Gala look saying, “It’s big, but we like big, don’t we?” She, in fact, did deliver on her promise with her bold decision.
Florence stayed faithful to Valentino, being their brand ambassador, and wore a cut-out black and white dress.
The actress then revealed that she had her head shaven for a month. “It was required for the job that I happily wanted to do and I thought what is the best way to release it to the world than at the Met.”
She also confessed, “I’ve been keeping it under wraps for about three weeks now.”
Although with the paparazzi and inquisitive fans always swarming celebs, it is very hard to keep anything a secret. In fact, her change in hairstyle was also somewhat anticipated.
Pugh made an appearance at the grand reopening of Tiffany & Co.’s flagship store in New York, and she wore a short wig with bangs. Rumors were soon circulating regarding her hair and a buzzcut, and it looks like fans weren’t very far off.
