Who Was Notti Osama?
Notti Osama was a 14-year-old drill rapper from Yonkers, New York. His real name was Ethan Reyes, and he had five older siblings. Notti and his family had moved from Harlem to Young Avenue.
Just two weeks before his death, he released graphics to accompany his latest novel, titled Without. He had an estimated net worth of $100k-500k. Notti was the brother of DD Osama.
What Happened to Notti Osama?
In July 2022, Notti Osama was stabbed to death in a Manhattan subway station. Help arrived too late, and he succumbed to his injuries after being rushed to the ER. His death was a result of being stabbed.
According to reports, Osama and his two friends spotted Kelvin Martinez (thought to be a rival gang member) while walking in Hamilton Heights. Osama followed Martinez to a subway station, where the three-cornered and hit him with a broom.
Martinez stabbed Osama in the abdomen with a knife in retaliation. Osama was rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead.
Camera Footage helped police figure out what had actually happened. The street fight had escalated, leading to the death of Notti. The reason behind the scuffle was never revealed, and apparently, the teens had issues with each other.
Who Killed Notti Osama?
Notti Osama was stabbed to death at a New York Subway Station by Kelvin Martinez. Martinez reportedly belonged to a rival gang and was 15 years old at the time.
After police discovered the assailant, they charged him with second-degree murder. However, after further investigation, it was revealed that Martinez was surrounded and beaten by Osama and his friends. His charges were then lowered to first-degree manslaughter. Osama and Martinez were apparently associates of rival gangs.
Is Notti Osama Related to DD Osama?
Yes, Notti Osama and DD Osama are siblings. The siblings released their first album in 2021 called ‘Aftermath.’ DD began receiving traction around June 2022; however, his sibling passed away in July, leading to a surge in the popularity of their song, ‘Dead Opps.’
The death of Notti also led to the creation of the song E4N (Everything 4 Notti.) DD’s latest tour was in July 2023 with Lil Durk.
