From Justin Bieber and Harry Styles to Billie Eilish, everyone has a wild story of being hit with objects on stage. The latest victim of the trend is Bebe Rexha, who had to be rushed to the ER as a consequence.
Bebe Rexha was performing her last set in New York for the “Best F’n Night of My Life Tour.” Suddenly a rogue phone hit her face, leading her to hunch in pain. Fans were first stunned at the act as they didn’t expect a phone to be thrown at the star.
Nonetheless, she was rushed to the hospital and recovered to a stable condition. The phone had hit her brow and eyelid, leading her to get three stitches. Needless to say, the misconduct was responsible for the concert ending early.
On Monday morning, Rexha posted on her Instagram account to relay to her fans that she was doing better.
She posted an image where she had a blackened eye and tapes where the stitches were made. She captioned it with a simple “I’m good.”
Who Threw the Phone at Bebe Rexha?
The culprit behind Bebe Rexha getting rushed to the hospital is a 27-year-old Manalapan, New Jersey resident, Nicolas Malvagna. Malvagna works as a luxury dog kennel worker and was arrested by the police immediately after the assault.
Malvagna has confessed to throwing the phone intentionally at Bebe Rexha. Thus, he was charged with assault.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s office revealed that Malvagna had confessed that the act was intentional and even stated that he was trying to hit her with it as he thought it would be “funny.” The incredibly selfish and misguided act led to grave consequences for the singer.

Will Rexha Continue Her Tour?
As Rexha had a whole tour planned ahead of her, fans were worried that her injury might interfere with the concert schedule. Thankfully, a spokesperson for Rexha confirmed that she will perform on Tuesday, June 20, at the Fillmore Philadelphia.
Her upcoming shows include Silver Spring, Maryland, on Wednesday and Atlanta on Friday. Let’s hope the singer gets plenty of time to rest in between and nothing aggravates her injuries.
