A viral video is circulating online that shows the Virginia Democratic candidate Susanna Gibson performing sexual acts with her husband on camera and asking her viewers for tips on the streaming website Chaturbate.
Who Is Susanna Gibson?
Susanna Gibson is a 40-year-old former nurse practitioner from Virginia. She lives with her husband, Attorney John David Gibson, and two children at their four-bedroom house in Henrico they bought for $450,000 in 2016.
Susanna graduated from the University of Virginia and later enrolled at Columbia University, after which she continued as a nurse practitioner.
She married John David Gibson in 2012, and together, the couple has been quite active in serving their community. John Gibson is a lawyer with solo practice in the town of Louisa. He is known in the community for his philanthropic work as the board member of the nonprofit McShin Recovery Resource Foundation in Richmond.
As a mother of two, Gibson was quite vocal against gun violence, for which she achieved recognition with the 2023 Mom Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate Distinction.
Due to her considerable contribution and community service, several Democrats encouraged her to represent Virginia. Hence, in July 2022, Gibson announced she was running for the Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 57 in Richmond. Gibson expressed her commitment–
“I have dedicated my career to ensuring my patients have the resources they need for a good quality of life. I have seen firsthand how important access to affordable quality healthcare, including reproductive healthcare, is for all. As your Delegate, I will continue to fight for you, your families, and our community.”
She also received endorsement from former governor Ralph Northam. Seems like the stage was set for Gibson to take Virginia’s politics by storm. And just as she gets ready for the battle, she faces a rather unpleasant Trojan horse.
Virginia Democratic Nurse Practitioner Viral Video Explained
The Wahington Post first published an exposé on Susanna Gibson’s very streamy past.
An anonymous uploader posted an archived video on a website called Recurbate in September 2022. That video showed Democrat Gibson performing sexual acts with her husband. Towards the end, she was seen asking for “tokens” as “tips” from the viewers. Apparently, she told those watching her stream that she was “raising money for a good cause.”
Gibson has over a dozen videos on the streaming website Chtaurbate. Reportedly, her last upload on her account was dated September 30, 2022 (which was after she announced her candidacy).
This video went viral as people questioned her integrity as a representative of Virginia.
Allegedly, the video was tipped by an anonymous Republican political operative to the Washington Post. Gibson called this video leak ‘the worst gutter politics‘ and ‘an illegal invasion of my privacy.’ She even accused the Republicans of committing sex crimes while pointing fingers at her.
Gibson responded to the Washington Post–
“My political opponents and their Republican allies have proven they’re willing to commit a s*x crime to attack me and my family because there’s no line they won’t cross to silence women when they speak up.”
Gibson’s opponent, Republican David Owen, responded to the controversy with empathy–
“I’m sure this is a difficult time for Susanna and her family, and I’m remaining focused on my campaign.”

Gibson is ready to sue for violating the state’s revenge p*rn law. Her lawyer, Daniel P. Watkins, stated this is a Class 1 misdemeanor. He stated his client’s stance with–
“We are working closely with state and federal law enforcement.”
