His son Dominik Mysterio is working his way into the spotlight, while his daughter Aalayh Gutierrez has made the hearts of millions of fans throb, but who is this Aalayh Gutierrez?
Aalayh Gutierrez Biography
The 22-year-old sensation has not been fighting in the ring, yet she gained a massive following worldwide with her Instagram handle, @aalyahgutierrez, which boasts 387k followers with just 120 posts.
Officially named Aalayh Gutierrez, but popularly known as Aalayh Mysterio, She was born on August 20, 2001, to Angie and Rey Mysterio, who knitted into the Mexican culture.
Aalayh spent most of her life in San Diego. She currently measures a height of 1.63 meters, which is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs around 50–55 kg. She graduated from the Horizon Christian Academy in 2019 and is now studying medicine. Her childhood was spent with her four-year-old elder brother, Dominik Gutierrez, who is one of the pro-wrestling world’s rising stars.
The young girl previously dated AJ Hernandez, who was famously associated with the New England Patriots for three seasons before his career was cut short after his arrest and conviction for the Murder of Odin Lloyd. She later moved on and is now dating Joshua Thomas, who shows up across multiple of Aalyah’s Instagram posts.
Aalyah Mysterio’s Appearance in the Ring
Aalyah Mysterio was born in late 2001, less than a year before Rey Mysterio would make his debut in the WWE. Rey Mysterio, with his mask, made his WWE debut on the July 25, 2002, episode of SmackDown as a face, defeating Chavo Guerrero.
Aalyah Mysterio came to the limelight, and Google searches on her skyrocketed when she, her mother Angie Mysterio, and Rey Mysterio attacked Murphy in the ring with kendo sticks to avenge Dominik Mysterio, who received a beating by Seth Rollins and Murphy in the night of his contract signing.

What is even more intriguing is that she’s already been in WWE’s spotlight since her first appearance on SmackDown in 2010. Rey Mysterio gave Aalyah an action figure and told her to watch his match on TV while Aalyah waited backstage with WWE Diva Tiffany.
On the March 12, 2010, episode of SmackDown, Aaliyah Mysterio and her family were there to celebrate her birthday, which was to be ruined by CM Punk, who was Rey Mysterio’s Wrestlemania 27 opponent. CM Punk did what he intended to do. He insulted the whole family and described how he wanted to beat up 619. After they left, Punk sang the birthday song with an evil smile.
Aalyah Mysterio’s Name Is ‘Tattooed’
As we all know, Rey Mysterio has no more body space for tattoos. He has a plethora of inks all over his body, from 619 to a massive vertebra in his back.
All of his ink has personal meanings and metaphors. “The master of the 619” has a large tattoo on his right-hand biceps. It never escaped the notice of his adoring fans all over the world. In a 2007 interview with WWE, he revealed,
“I’ve got a Kanji symbol on my shoulder; it’s for my son and means ‘strength and power’. I have my son and daughter’s names, Dominik and Aalyah, written on the inside of the left and right biceps, too.”
