Britney’s conservatorship united people globally, initiating a much-needed discourse on a woman’s agency in her life. And to add to that, even after being the “Princess of Pop” icon of an era, Spears was reduced to being a dependent.
Citing her tumultuous mental status, she was betrayed by the people closest to her. This sparked national outrage as people rallied for Spears to regain her life, and #FreeBritney became a symbol of freedom.
After Judge Reva Goetz placed Britney involuntarily under conservatorship on February 1, 2008, it took her more than a decade to untether herself from her conservators– father, James “Jamie” Spears, and attorney Andrew M. Wallet.
The matter became a question of Spears’s human rights, subsequently leading to a significant law reform for legislation against such abuse on a federal level. During the legal battle, Britney fought against her own family, while her sister, Jamie Lyn Spears, was criticized for riding on Britney’s success and abandoning her in conservatorship.
Amidst this grueling struggle, one man brought a ray of life into Britney’s life. Britney first Asghari in 2016 on the set of the Slumber Party music video, which was also her much-anticipated comeback.
Asghari stood by her during her stressful time. The two began dating, eventually leading to a very healthy relationship, which Britney had not had much luck with in the past, considering her ugly split from Kevin Federline. As time passed, their bond grew further, and the couple got engaged in September 2021 and married on June 9, 2022.
However, within just 14 months, Asghari filed for divorce in late August, citing irreconcilable differences. But the paperwork showed that he had already issued separation on July 28. Apparently, Brittney threw a party after the news broke out. She took to Instagram and posted a video of her dancing with shirtless men and wrote in the caption–
“I knew [photographers] were tipped off because the car I was in was never used before … so what does a bitch like me do !!??!”
“I put my green dress on and show up at my friends !!! I invited my fav boys over and PLAYED ALL NIGHT!!!”
Somewhere around this time, Spears met another man.
Paul Richard Soliz works as the maintenance guy who does odd repair jobs. The 37-year-old is also a father. Soliz was released from jail in May of this year, considering his criminal background, including disturbing the peace, child endangerment, and driving without a license. He was also charged with multiple felonies of possession of a controlled substance for sale and possession of a firearm, as reported by Us Weekly. Spears is rumored to have been entangled with Soliz after she hired him for maintenance work in August.

Spears hired a maintenance guy for repair work around her house. A source said, “He fixed things around the house. Things like doorknobs and unclog toilets.”
However, according to a report, Britney’s team terminated his contract just after two months, reasons still undisclosed. Yet, Paul Soliz remained like a lingering afterthought.
Soliz said in an interview–
“I’m not a bad dude. I understand that things have been said about me in the past, and I have a criminal record — I get it.”
“I’m a working man. I own my own business. I do a licensed contractor technique tile.”
According to an assumed timeline, Asghari seemed to have suspicions that Britney was cheating on him. Allegedly, Asghari found out about Spears’s infidelity through the CCTV footage. The implication is that Britney must have cheated on Asghari with Soliz (these are just speculations). Asghari filed for divorce shortly after.

Paul Richard Soliz doesn’t seem like the guy one should cheat with or even be with…. But to each their own.
Soliz is currently embroiled in an ongoing case where he was arrested in December 202.0. He was booked for firearm possession by a felon and unlawful possession of ammunition. Soliz pleaded no contest, post which he was sentenced to two years’ probation and a 90-day jail sentence (as reported by Us Weekly).
His accomplishments don’t end here, though– He was arrested for having a firearm as a felon. He has a roster of misdemeanors, including endangering a child (possibly his), driving without a license, creating a ruckus, and, in the worst charges, possession of a controlled substance for sale.
To top it up, he has taken up anger management classes (P.S.: court-ordered).
