Thomas was married to Alisa and had two daughters, Alix and Ashtin. In 2008, he had an affair with Ashley Dupré and soon got married to her. Both have three kids, Izabel, 10, Penelope, 8, and Thomas, 6.

Influencer Alix Earle has finally discussed her father’s involvement in a relationship with her now stepmother, Ashley Dupré. The influencer went to the ‘Call her Daddy’ podcast, hosted by Alex Cooper, on September 20, 2023. Alix reportedly shed light on the scandal and the aftermath of the lives of people involved in it.
Alix revealed that, back in 2008, she got to know that her father, Thomas Earle, was having an affair with Ashley Dupré. Back then, Ashley was known as a call girl and a sex worker as well. She was even linked to Eliot Spitzer’s sex scandal, leading to the resignation of Eliot as the New York governor. Alix said that her parents, Alisa and Thomas Earle, got separated after the affair news on July 24, 2008.
Earle further recalled the memory of 2008 by commenting,
“I remember the day very clearly. Paparazzi had shown up at my house and my mom quickly kind of got me and my sister out of the house over to our cousins. We stayed there for a few days and I had no idea what was going on. I didn’t know they were paparazzi. I thought news broadcasters were interviewing the neighbours.”
Alix said that she was too young to understand the situation and learned about the truth two years later when she was in 4th grade. She further added that she was once googling about her family and came to know the truth about her dad.
She commented,
“I see that the past two years of my life have been a lie.”
The influencer then continued,
“My dad had an affair with someone who was well-known for her job having sexual relations with high-class people and one of them was even the governor of New York. She was very well-known from that and in turn, my dad’s affair became a very public situation.”
Meanwhile, Alix also credited her mom, Alisa, for defending both her daughters, Alix and Ashtin, from this messy moment of their lives.
She also commented on how the situation impacted her life in school when Ashley was linked to the governor’s sex scandal. She recalled one specific incident where her history teacher was explaining the sex scandal concerning the Governor and her stepmom, and her classmates were laughing at her. She also added that due to her dad’s affair with Ashley, Alix’s social life suffered a lot.
Upon asking about how she dealt with the situation at such a young age, Alix shared that she kind of figured it out on her own and proceeded to deal with it. She also added that at present time she is very close to her stepmom, Ashley, and has a close bond with her stepsiblings.
Closing this chapter of her life, Alix commented on the podcast,
“Whatever’s happened in the past, we’ve all gotten past it as a family.”
