When Does One Piece 1070 Air?

The delay in the airing of the episode has been attributed to some broadcasting issues. Hence fans might have to wait for a while to be able to catch up with the latest episodes. As fans of the anime are already aware, the anime series will be available to stream on Crunchyroll.
The episode is to explore the most interesting arc of the series, the Wano arc, which is adding up more to the excitement of the fans.

Why Did One Piece Episode 1070 Go on Hiatus?
Although there is no official news on the delay of the episodes, the most obvious reason is attributed to the broadcasters facing some issues with the airing, which is, in turn, upsetting the time slots.
The delays are also attributed to the health of the maker of the manga series, Eiichiro Oda, who has apparently undergone eye surgery and needs time to recover. The official Twitter account of the One Piece franchise confirmed that the series would be on hiatus for the coming four issues, starting from the Shonen Jump issue.
Oda’s surgery was what initially started the hiatus, which is now affecting the release time of the upcoming episodes too.
Oda, however, shared a message with his fans, stating that his issues with his vision have been preventing him from continuing his work efficiently. He also shared with his fans how the surgery had been impending for almost a year and that his management, therefore, allowed him to take some time for himself and proceed with the surgery. For the unversed, Oda was diagnosed with a medical condition called Astigmatism.
Where to Read One Piece Manga?
Manga Plus is, hands down, the best site to read the pirate’s manga officially for free. As the chapters progress, readers are also offered the colored version of the manga. Also, readers can download the Shonen Jump app to read the manga, but the app isn’t for free!
At the end of the manga series, according to Oda, One Piece’s conclusion will be marked with a grand feast. Although many characters may pass away in flashbacks, they will not meet the same fate in the present. Additionally, Oda has mentioned that he prefers not to kill off characters and instead likes to conclude each saga with celebratory banquets.
As for the anime series, the episodes will hopefully resume on July 30th!
