Adding to the list of such conspiracy theories is a new trend on TikTok about a possible doomsday that may occur on 23 September 2023.
While all the previous conspiracy theories have been baseless, as we all are still alive, the internet is witnessing this new Doomsday conspiracy. It started as one of the TikTok users, @blackapplegallery369 posted an apocalypse forecast for 23 September 2023. He asserted that many horrible things happened in various movies, and because of the numbers 9, 2, and 3, the same might happen again.
What Is TikTok Doomsday Conspiracy?
The world has no end to conspiracy theories, especially with the rise of the internet and social media. With no scientific or genuine authorities confirming the news, it seems like the internet world is convinced about the end of the world.
However, according to the TikTok doomsday conspiracy theory, 23 September 2023 is a special date as it holds some significance marking the September Equinox in the world of astronomy.
On this particular day, the sun would move across the celestial equator and head southward. The claim by the TikTok user also came from speculation based on references from movies and television shows. The theory was supported by a list of several movies and TV shows that showed something terrible happened on 23 September 2023.
Which Movies/Series Supported the Theory of TikTok Doomsday Conspiracy?
Some of the examples mentioned in the theory were from the Big Bang Theory and the movies Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World, Knowing, Deep Impact, and many others. These movies/ series were known for showing the earth being destroyed by an asteroid striking our world or being destroyed by a solar flare on the mentioned date.
Other movies like Little Shop, Evil, Ghostbusters, This is the End, Pandemic, Labyrinth and Lost, and Tomorrowland claim that humans will receive a deadly threat on the date. The number 23 has been considered as a connecting dots in all the movies that have been supporting the theory.
The date has been everywhere apart from the movie and series. A commercial from Taco Bell showed a truck escaping a concentration camp on September 23. Similarly, a stopwatch in a Guinness beer commercial showed that one can discover dark secrets as one opens the can at 9:23 in the video.
It might seem like a bizarre coincidence that all the scriptwriters have chosen 23 September for calamities or catastrophes, but can it be a coincidence, or does the theory have some weight?
