UFC video games, created by EA Vancouver, have long been popular among players, but the last video game in the franchise was three years ago when UFC 4 was released on August 14, 2020.
Ever since, fans have been waiting for another installment in the mixed martial arts video game franchise, and the time has come in the form of UFC 5. So, when will UFC 5 be released, and when will the Early Access be available?
UFC 5, the long-awaited video game, will be available for early access starting October 24, 2023, at 12:01 AM Pacific Time, and it will be released officially after three days on October 27, 2023. The early access will be a 10-hour trial unless you pre-order the Deluxe Edition.
UFC 5: Gameplay, Features, and How To Play Early Access
The gameplay of UFC 5 will be similar to the previous versions, but there will be upgrades in graphics quality, and several new moves will be included.
As revealed on the official page of EA Sports, the gameplay has been enhanced using various features, including authentic representation of damage, game stoppage when injuries get critical, as well as new hits, submissions, and reactions.
The game also introduces new modes, including Fight Week, Online Career Mode, and Progression Mode. While the first two modes are typical of the previous games, the last will let you earn predetermined rewards.
If you’re interested in playing UFC 5 during the early access period, there are two possible ways: subscription-based access and the Deluxe Edition.
If you choose the Deluxe Edition, which is $99.9, you are granted access immediately and will stay ahead of other Standard Edition releases.
However, since that is expensive and you won’t know how the game is until the purchase, it is better to choose an option akin to a trial, but in this case, it isn’t free.
You can subscribe to EA Play, which costs $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, and you will be given a 10-hour trial during the early access time.
After playing during these initial 10 hours, you will have a decent perspective on the game’s experience, and if you choose to purchase the entire game, whether it be the Standard Edition ($69.99) or the Deluxe Edition, it will grant you a 10% discount upon purchase.
UFC 5 Early Access: Launch Date and Time
UFC 5 early access is a great way to experience the game beforehand because you can either purchase it later or simply move on to the other game you desire.
So, players will be able to access the early version of the game from October 24, 2023, and you can get it by either of the two methods listed above.
The early access window will last until October 27, 2023, because the game will release both the Standard and Deluxe editions three days later.
Early access to the game will be launched at 12:01 AM PT, and it will be counted for both the 10-hour trial period and the three-day window, after which the official game will be released.
