However, what caught Twitter’s attention wasn’t the instructions but rather a profile picture beside Musk’s which meant that he had an alternate account. As this discovery reached Musk’s ears, he tweeted, “You’d never guess it’s me!” but these are dangerous words to say as they caught the attention of a 4chan user.
4chan users are the most skilled ninjas on this planet, and it didn’t take long for them to find out Elon Musk’s burner account under the username @ErmnMusk. From there onwards, it was only a downward slope.
What is Elon Musk’s Alternate Account?
Elon Musk’s alternate account is @ErmnMusk. The account has an image of Elon’s three-year-old child, X Æ A-12, more commonly known as X. The image showed X holding a $300 chrome model of Musk’s starship, which is not even available to ship yet.
The account was created only weeks after Elon took over Twitter, and recently, the account tweeted, “I will finally turn 3 on May 4th!” Elon Musk’s son will coincidentally also turn 3 this May.
What Did Elon Tweet Via His Alternate Account?
Of course, no one was satisfied with just finding Elon Musk’s alternate account. Because as soon as it was discovered, people went through each and every reply and tweet made through the account and found out some stuff that Musk might have paid to keep shut.
One of the replies was to Michael Saylor, a Bitcoin promoter, when he tweeted, “Do You Like Japanese Girls?” In another reply, he tweeted ” (heart emoticon) librarians” under a picture of Caroline Elliso, former CEO of Alameda Research.
Why Does Elon Have an Alternate Account?
As one Twitter user pointed out, Musk might be using his alternate account to test out new Twitter features, which is understandable, given he is the CEO.
