Selling Sunset is running strong with seven total seasons. But fans couldn’t help but feel a missing piece.
Davina Potratz, one of the real estate agents on Selling Sunset, has been missing in season 7 of the series. Viewers felt the absence with Heather and Davina’s scarce appearances in Season 5.
Although Davina’s post suggests that leaving Selling Sunset was not her choice, the main reason for her departure could be that she is no longer employed by the Oppenheim Group and has joined the rival company, Douglas Elliman. A purely business decision.

Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, and Heather El Moussa have been killing the game as the main cast ever since Selling Sunset first premiered.
However, Heather was left off the latest season of the show. Her Instagram post implies that she had been phased out of the female-centric troupe.
She captioned the post, stating–
“Looks like I got pushed in the water… it’s a good thing I can swim! Congrats to my girls on S7! You may see me in a few episodes…..”
Fans believed that she was left out because of her maternity. But the insider scoop seems far deeper than what’s seen on the surface. Moreover, Davina Potratz commented on her post, saying–
“You and me both 🤣🔥“

Why Did Davina Have Less Footage on Selling Sunset After Season 5? Why Did She Leave The Show?
Davina Potratz started as a recurring star on Selling Sunset in the first season. However, viewers were instantly captivated by her strong personality, level-headedness, and hard-hitting opinions. She was perceived as a go-getter and always showed great strategies in the real estate business.
However, in 2020, it was revealed that Davina had left the Oppenheim Group and joined a competing real estate brokerage company, Douglas Elliman, in Beverly Hills. Hence, since season 5 of Selling Sunset, she had sporadic appearances on the show.
Some viewers believed that she was phased out of the show since she was not one of the popular cast. While others thought that the Oppenheim Group had something to do with her removal. However, Brett Oppenheim clarified his stance with a statement–
“Davina has always been a tremendous asset and a valued agent at the Oppenheim Group, and she is also a friend whose career decisions I very much respect and support.”
Davina was last seen briefly at Chelsea’s 30th birthday party. Ever since then, viewers have been missing the Davina dose.
