How Did Cody Sargent Die?
Cody Sargent was an honorable member of the United States Air Force who served the country as a mechanical systems engineer and was involved in various other departments, such as strategic planning.
Unfortunately, on November 1, 2023, Cody Sargent sadly passed away after being diagnosed with a Brain Tumor, that too the most aggressive one known as Glioblastoma Multiforme.
Kristin Clark, a prominent nurse who was present during Cody Sargent’s last moments, shared more details about his passing in a Facebook post. Here’s what she wrote,
“On Tuesday, October 31, 2023, Cody Sargent was taken to the Emergency Room by his wife, Frances Sargent. Cody was seeing his primary care doctor for five weeks, suffering from headaches, and a STAT CT scan showed a brain tumor. Cody was airlifted to the Medical Center of the Rockies for emergency surgery so the tumor could be partially removed and biopsied, along with decreasing the cranial pressure. Unfortunately, they determined Cody was brain dead and clinically given a time of death.”
Apparently, Cody was taken to the emergency surgery room to remove the tumor partially, but it was too late, and he was kept on life support since he was a donor.
Furthermore, she also shared the video of hospital staff giving the late Cody Sargent an honor walk as he was escorted to donate his organs.
On the official website of Legacy, the family posted the timings for both the Visitation and Funeral services as well as providing what led him to become an Air Force officer. In their words,
“From early childhood, Cody loved to be outside. Give the man a reason to drink and talk, and he was in! Everyone loved that about him. He would run to you if you needed him. He enjoyed helping others. It gave him the greatest feeling of purpose. It’s only fitting that Cody chose to be an organ donor. His last gift on Earth saves five lives and has created a legacy of life, where he will continue to impact those around him through this ultimate act of selflessness.”
Given his phenomenal service to the nation, several people paid tribute to the late Cody Sargent, claiming how he left a lot behind for the next generations and how more lives will be saved.
His memorial will be held from 2:00 p.m. on November 10, Friday at the First Christian Church, which will be followed by a Funeral service at 4:00 p.m.
