Jared Leto belonged to a quite eccentric family, raised in Louisiana. His mother, Constance, joined the hippie movement in the 70s and encouraged her sons to join the arts.
Leto revealed in an interview that he “was raised around a lot of artists, musicians, photographers, painters, and people that were in the theater.”
“Just having the art communal hippie experience as a child, there wasn’t a clear line that was drawn. We celebrated creative experience and creative expression. We didn’t try and curtail it and stunt any of that kind of growth.”
With his musical roots, he started his own rock band, Thirty Seconds To Mars, in 1998, originating in Los Angeles. Prior to that, he ventured into acting, getting minor roles. Soon, he entered the pearly Hollywood gates and caught the eyes of the influential executives. The chocolate-boy looks and charming personality amassed a massive female following, while his versatile roles earned him an A-list status.
However, his mansion had a closet full of skeletons that were gradually exposed.
Allegedly, Jared Leto is running a cult of unnervingly younger women. Then, a few Hollywood insiders, including James Gunn and Dylan Sprouse, exposed him as a p*d*phile. Compelling evidence has emerged that suggests that Leto would text minors with inappropriate messages and coerce and groom them as well. Whereas a few colleagues have revealed that he was a huge pain in the neck while filming.
Controversies of Jared Leto
Starting off with controversies, the first sparks of problematic behavior stemmed from the Suicide Squad, where Leto was cast as the Joker. For those unversed, the Joker is the most menacing character, an antagonist who tests people’s moral compass and has no comprehension of social cues.
While preparing for the role, Jared went into full method acting mode. He wanted to absorb the character completely. So he pranked his coworkers in real-time, such as–
- He sent Will Smith a box of bullets and an unhinged letter.
- He sent Margot Robbie, who played his love interest in the movie, a love letter along with a rat. Robbie said on The Tonight Show. “At first, I was like, ‘This is disgusting. It jumped out at me, so I got a fright and got off to a rough start.”
- He sent “sticky Playboy magazines” to Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
- He “gifted” all his colleagues dirty condoms and anal beads.
Mind you, this was all because he wanted to stay true to his Joker character. Instead, he made an absolute fool of himself. And none of the DC fans could digest Leto as Joker and found his rendition insulting the complex character.
Accusations Against Jared Leto
The first accusation surfaced in 2005 when an anonymous source told the New York Post that Leto was a “serial texter,” who was “constantly texting these 16- and 17-year-old girls.”
When Leto was touring with Thirty Second to Mars, he encouraged the groupie culture, aggressively pursuing teenage models staying in New York City.
This smoke ignited a whole fire when more alleged victims came forward with their creepy Leto experience. Later, Dylan Sprouse of Suite Life Of Zack and Cody fame tweeted about Leto’s inappropriate stance.
Popular director James Gunn validated this tweet as well. But the worst is yet to come, something that no one would have ever imagined–
Jared Leto is apparently running a cult where his followers call themselves Echelon.
The cult went on a retreat to Croatia for a 3-day music festival with yoga and movie screenings. Although this seems like an unharmful get-together, but wait until you see their attires. The white robes, Leto’s long hair, and the disturbing “closeness” and “intimacy” with some of his followers have raised concerns over the years.
According to the above tweet, Jared was embroiled in allegations of conducting cult practices and exhibiting p*d*philia.
Jared Leto’s Backlash: Internet Archive Of Netizens Alleging About Jared Leto
A collective outrage was sparked, considering Hollywood shielded Leto even after knowing his problematic demeanor. Just before the Morbius release, netizens pointed out that Jared was unfit for the role and should be banned amidst the resurfacing allegations.
“Yes, he is known to be abusive to fellow cast members and crew. He was horrible on the Suicide Squad set to his castmates. He is also a very mediocre actor in general.”
“He runs what amounts to a cult, where he is alleged to take advantage of young female acolytes.”
“He has been accused, not charged legally mind you, of hitting on, or preying on underage girls. Multiple people have attested to this, including Dylan Sprouse and James Gunn.”
“Leto is known as a very problematic person, apparently he has some kind of sex cult and dates with a questionably large age gap. That’s one thing I heard, but he’s also apparently very problematic on set and during work too.”
“Alleged actions on set which he calls “method acting,” running a cult, and unsavory actions I’d rather not talk about but others here have mentioned.
“Yes for a lot of reasons. One of the lesser reasons he in my opinion just isn’t a good actor. Not to mention the sex cult he started and he was an absolute pain for the cast of suicide squad to work with. He’s just gonna end up ruining this movie.”
“Leto as an actor is a huge pain in the ass to work with and has a huge ego regardless I waited for the movie I’ll still watch it but Leto can break an otherwise good movie by Just making it about him and less about the story at hand.”
“General audiences dont know that Jared Leto has a sex cult where he sleeps with underage 30 seconds to mars groupies Stuff like what the main actor gets up to on their personal life isn’t something the average movie goer knows or cares about.”
What is your take on this whole fiasco? Do you believe Jared is a creep or even worse than that? Or do you think that the internet is mass-hating on him?
