The supermodel had flown to the destination on a private jet for a girl’s trip on July 10.vOn her arrival at Owen Roberts International Airport, it was discovered that her baggage contained ganja and associated paraphernalia, leading to the model’s arrest.
According to the news report from the local outlet, the quantities were relatively small and seemed like it was only for personal use. Obviously, that didn’t stop the officers from arresting Hadid.

Why Was Gigi Hadid Arrested?
Gigi Hadid was arrested at the Owen Roberts International Airport, where she flew to spend a week in the Cayman Islands. The authorities found marijuana and other drug paraphernalia in her baggage which was there for personal consumption.
Similar materials were found in the baggage of another friend from Hadid’s group. Leah Nicole McCarthy. Both were arrested on the grounds of “suspicion of Importation of Ganja and Importation of Utensils used for the consumption of ganja.”
Is Gigi Hadid Bailed Now?
Gigi Hadid and her friend, who were arrested due to possession of drugs, were released on bail and then pleaded guilty in a Summary Court. Each of them was fined $1000, and no conviction was recorded.
Gigi’s representative stated that the marijuana Gigi was traveling with was purchased legally in NYC with a medical license. Her record is still clear, and “she enjoyed the rest of her time on the island.”

Gigi has been posting pictures from her trip and showing off the gorgeous landscape on her social media accounts. On Tuesday, she posted many photos and videos on Instagram and wrote, “All’s well that ends well.”
It looks like she has already brushed past the incident and is off to having a great vacation that the baddie deserves. Some of her other posts include images of her in a bikini, where she can be spotted with a fake dragon tattoo.
Expecting any more comments on the incident from Hadid seems like a thankless quest, as her representative has already clarified the matter.
