Fans of fantasy and quirky animation worldwide, we have some good news to share! The Owl House is all set for the next season on Disney.

Spoilers Ahead!

Created by Dana Terrace, The Owl House has been renewed, and the premiere date has been revealed. The previous two seasons contain 40 episodes in total, and the horror-comedy has received rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. The show has been awarded many accolades too.

T.J. Hill is the theme music composer responsible for all the music during the first season. Brad Breeck is the principal composer in the second season. The LGBTQIA+ representation, coupled with the unique storyline, has been subjected to praise.

Rough Draft Korea, Sunmin Image Pictures, and Sugarcube Animation are the primary organizations involved in bringing this story to life on the screen. Spencer Wan and Kofi Fiagome are the animation supervisors for Season 1 and Season 2, respectively. Ricky Cometa operated as the art director.

Mrs. Terrace was previously involved with DuckTales and is greatly inspired by dark, surrealistic artists like Hieronymus Bosch and Remedios Varo. The Pokemon influence is also hard to ignore.

The third season will comprise three specials, each running for 44 minutes, whereas two more episodes will be released in the following year. The show is now available on the Disney+ streaming service.

Here’s a tweet from the creator Dana Terrace revealing a key visual.

The Owl House

The female protagonist of this story goes by the name of Luz Noceda. She is a teenage Dominican-American who comes across the Demon Realm by chance. At the Boiling Isles (an island cluster) established from bits and pieces of a gigantic titan, she encounters Eda Clawthorne, the rebellious “Owl Lady,” the self-proclaimed “King of Demons,” who also happens to be an 8-year tiny titan, and the intelligent Hooty. Luz decides to serve Eda as an apprentice despite her lack of magical powers.

Emperor Belos is the main antagonist of the series. He is a tyrannical control freak who believes that only his tremendous power and dream to bring about the Day of Unity can help save humanity. At the end of the second season, a piece of what was left of Belos latched on to Hunter (one of the clones created by the evil Emperor) as he, alongside Luz, Amity Blight, Augustus Porter, and Willow Park, is stranded on the human realm due to the destruction of the portal.

Main Cast Of The Owl House

  • Sarah Nicole Robles as Luz Noceda

I am always looking to “go beyond” my full potential, for the real value lies in unexplored realms of greatness. Occasionally, I dabble in art and poetry and love watching classic anime from the bygone era. Anime has come a long way since its inception in the early 20th century, and I’m here to explore everything associated with it. My favorite characters include Saiki Kusuo and Aizen, and my fascination with villains shall never end.
