Some anime takes viewers on an adventure full of myths, lore, new lands, and intense cliffhangers. But other kinds of anime aren’t meant to be consumed with desperation. They are intended to be watched on a rainy day while wrapped in a blanket and sipping hot cocoa. Super Cub is precisely that kind of anime.
Super Cub is adapted from a Japanese light novel by Tone Kōken and illustrated by Hiro. The series is centered on Kogumo, a high school girl with no parents, friends, or hobbies.
In her empty daily life, she finds something new, a Honda Super Cub motorcycle, which changes her life. Yuki Yomichi voices Koguma, and Ayaka Nanase voices Reiko. Super Cub is available to watch on Crunchyroll.
What Is the Storyline of Super Cub Anime?
Super Cub anime is set in the Yamanashi Prefecture of Japan, specifically in the Mukawa area of Hokuto. The story is about Kogumo, a lonely but gruff girl without parents, friends, or hobbies. So her life is pretty lonely as she lives alone as well. However, things change when she gets a Honda Super Cub 50 after getting dissatisfied with the bike she rides to school and everywhere else.
That vehicle lets her expand her world as she travels in it. Throughout the story, she meets other people, makes friends with Eniwa and Reiko, and experiences new things. It’s a cute story about letting oneself experience new things in life and not shutting oneself in the regular monotonous activities of life.
Is Super Cub Season 2 Renewed?
Super Cub season one completed airing on 23, 2021. After that, Studio Kai, the manga publisher Kadokawa, or even any other anime-making company still needs to renew the anime for another season.
