There must be a time when you have watched “8 Passengers” for a few days, for just a moment, doesn’t matter. Yes, the channel where the parents were either toxic or weirdly strict.
The channel that will make you wonder if parents can be this evil. But they were, and that’s why their children have filed cases against them for abuse.
On 31st August, Franke shared a Google document in her Instagram story. In the story, she requested people to attach the parts of the videos related to their parents and their actions. She added that videos can be from 8 Passengers or ConneXions. Sharie also shared that going through every video is very disturbing for her, as it’s triggering her past traumas. The videos will act as evidence in the fight for justice.
From 8 Passengers to ConneXions
Ruby, the host of the vlog channel ‘8 Passengers,’ is a mother who can compete with the evil mothers of Disney. In fact, she is worse when it comes to real life. Ruby and Kevin Franke are parents of 6 children: Shari, Chad, Abby, Julie, Russell, and Eve. The whole family is known to film their day-to-day vlogs for their channel. The channel more likely focused on parenting, which appeared twisted.
The channel gained 2.5 million subscribers maximum. However, soon enough, they started facing an issue that remained undisclosed to the public. Meanwhile, Ruby made appearances with Jodi Hildebrandt on her show, ConneXions. There, as well, the mothers emphasized the idea of ‘inflicting pain’ on their children, even for the smallest mistakes.
They also opened up a joint Facebook page named ‘Moms of Truth,’ which was meant to advise desperate parents.
However, the advice was deemed far from applicable. Sometimes, the content on the page seemed so foreign that viewers questioned whether what they said or did was real or scripted. But everything was as real as their identity. Both moms strictly advised their viewers to torture or abuse their children.
This side of Ruby pushed their eldest daughter away from the family. Shari, along with the help of her aunts and uncles, called out her parents. Shari shared the inside incidents of how her parents treated their children. Apparently, after years of struggle and pain, the children of 8 passenger channels are finally getting their due justice.
Ruby and Jodi both got arrested on 31st August 2023. The news broke out from Shari’s Instagram account, where she shared pictures in her story. Shari captioned the story with “Finally” and further added, “We’ve been trying to tell the police and CPS for years about this, and so glad they finally decided to step up.”

Shari is leading the fight of her siblings against their parents. She shared how much her parents affected her throughout her life, she shared with them. Now that the truth is finally out, it is time to gather support. Shari asked her Instagram followers to add the links to the videos they have from ConneXions and 8 Passengers, as the pages have now been taken down.
She further shared, “It’s too much for me to sort through myself.”
After her request, viewers and her followers started adding links to the document, and she gathered 40 links. Additionally, Ruby’s sister has spoken out as well, and she shared that they had to keep quiet to safeguard the children. This shows the depth of these evil mothers’ deeds, but justice is now at the door to be served!
