The ground of the ‘Burning Man’ event was heating up a few days ago with the rumors of an Ebola outbreak. People were rambling about how things are messy. Few took it far by creating a nuisance and editing fake news confirmation by the government.
But reality was far away. It turns out the ground was hit by heavy rain and had to stop the festival. Seems like the place is in the news again, but for what now? Let’s get into it!
On September 4, 2023, a video of Ram TRX started going viral on X (formerly known as Twitter). The video showed how the Ram 1500 TRX kept going in an attempt to cross the muddy ground in the Burning Man. The driver seemed unbothered by the possibilities of worse, and the clip has over 3 million views, with people commenting it as an “excellent truck advertisement.”
Quick Check on the Burning Man
Every year the Burning Man festival takes place in Black Rock City of Black Rock Desert, Pershing County, Nevada, US. The festival is a nine-day-long event that includes cultural and artistic activities. For the past 37 years, the event has recorded new possibilities each time. For 2023, it was recorded for destruction by rain and rumors.
The ground was hit by heavy rain, which caused traffic and disturbance for the attendees as well. Authorities took the initiative not to hold it further, yet many people reached the venue without fact-checking.
But the situation got worse when people at the venue started a rumor about an Ebola outbreak at the venue. Eventually, the misunderstanding was resolved, but the weather at the Burning Man venue remained problematic. Things were never messy like this.
