Chapter 1090 of One Piece will be out this Sunday, August 20, but its raw scans are out way before the release date. The spoilers are out early due to One Piece’s break.
The latest chapter has caused quite some stir in the fandom, as Kizaru and Sentomaru are ready to clash. On the other hand, Luffy foreshadows the arrival of someone extremely powerful!
Chapter 1090 of One Piece begins with Luffy announcing himself and claiming that he will become the King of the Pirates. He then states that they are allied with Dr. Vegapunk, so if they care about York’s life, they should pull the fleet out of the shore.
Gorosei asks if it is Straw Hat Luffy. He asks Luffy who is on board with him. Nico stops Luffy from divulging all the information. Then Saturn says that they have three things to protect, the physical safety of York, the punk records that constitute his brain, and the powerplant needed to reduce the Mother Flame. Other than these three, everything else can be risked. The Gorosei are ready to lose Rob, Lucci, and his squad and dismiss them like insects.
On the other hand, York threatens the Straw Hats that the Marines will erase the entire Egghead Island from existence if they dare hurt her. Lucci is seen reporting the number of people on board as well as the injured ones to the World Government.
Those in the Laboratory Basement Underground thank the Strawhats for the food and claim they are indebted. Vegapunk assures them that the Seraphim won’t escape as their imprisoning bubble balls are made from the same armored material as the Pacifista MK3. The bubbles are resistant to bombs and devil-fruit users.
It is revealed that the reason S-Snake undid the Straw Hat’s petrification by defying Vegapunk’s programming is because she is a perfect copy of Hancock and could not resist Luffy’s request.
York has frozen the frontier dome’s barrier with a password and didn’t share it with the other brains. She thinks the password and the Marine Government will save her. Nami’s log pose points to a northeast island, Elbaaf. The crew thinks of escaping there with the Vegapunk machines. With the planning set, Vegapunk tries to hack the password.
Kizaru reveals that he won’t manipulate the Frontier Dome’s lasers since Vegapunk’s guard, who is stationed there, is a friend. If they started the attack, then Sentomary would order the mechanized sea beats and the 50 Pacifistas under his command to sink the Marine ships.
However, Kizaru is ready with a plan and tells the Rokushiki users and Cipher Poll agents to get ready. As explosives don’t work on Pacifistas, they will target the sea beasts. As Kizaru begins his attack, Sentomaru unleashes the Pacifistas.
In the last panel, Luffy uses his Observation Haki and claims that someone very powerful is coming.
Fans are currently in a state of uproar as they try to speculate who is the strong person capable of making Luffy panic.
The Straw Hat did not bat an eyelid when Ryokugyu was introduced, but now he is suddenly aware of his surroundings. Who can possibly incite such a reaction?
Many fans are of the opinion that it’s actually Kizaru unleashing his full prowess, but others think that maybe it’s someone from Blackbeard’s ship.
