Monster But Wild is a Chinese donghua showing a gamer who gets transported into his favorite game. Typically, this would lead to a rosy life where the MC gets unparalleled powerups and defeats the demon lord, but not this time.
Dong Dong, the gamer, gets transported only to find out he is now the weakest of all monsters, a dangly-looking skeleton monster. Still, he didn’t lose hope because “Someone was reincarnated as a slime, and he became a hero.” (Cool TenSura reference there)
Alas, he gets his butt handed to him by a slime pretty soon. How will this weak skeleton warrior survive in a game world filled with dangerous creatures and adventurers? By scamming them, that’s how.
Let’s find out more about this insanely hilarious donghua and where you can get your hands on it.
The Plot of Monster But Wild
Dong Dong has played the game ‘Azure Sky’ for ten years and is an expert on it. One day after completing a quest, he is transported into the world of Azure. However, he is not reincarnated as the strongest character but rather the weakest monster, a skeleton warrior.
At first, he is unable even to defeat slimes, but using his years of experience, he tricks monsters and players alike to boost his level. He even becomes the boss of several skeleton warriors and teaches them how to loot and survive.
Motivated by vengeance against a player, Dong Dong starts leveling up and exploring the world of Azure. Eventually, he will meet an adventurer and will make a deal with her to become her strongest pet.
He slowly realizes that monsters and NPCs alike have the ability to become awakened. On his quest to return to his original world, he will discover how the two worlds are connected.
Will Monster But Wild Receive Season 2?
