On various social media platforms, there’s a quietly rising conversation. Many are wondering why so many famous personalities are suddenly leaving the world so soon. No one can predict when death will claim a person, but some are questioning the multiple deaths of social media personalities.
The reason is simple- we are more connected via the internet in today’s world. So everyone is well aware of the passing away of every minor celebrity. Unfortunately, Lil Kody joined the ill-fated list because he passed away following a car accident.
Lil Kody, or Famous Kody, is an American TikToker with a large following of 694k people on the short video-making platform. In July 2023, he was involved in a car accident that injured him grievously. Doctors put Lil Kody in a medically induced coma and on a ventilator. Fans of the lip-syncing online sensation hoped he would pull through, but that didn’t happen. His sister Zy’Kevia confirmed that he had passed away.

TikToker Famous Kody/ Lil Kody, or famouskodyy, whose real name is Zyquan Mitchell, has passed away due to a car accident. He also went by the name of Mr. Blicky and described himself as an influencer and brand ambassador.
Kody enjoyed a massive following on TikTok with more than 8 million likes and 694k followers. On Instagram, @_lilkody, he had 102k followers. The 21-year-old TikToker was famous for lip-syncing songs at several locations and had garnered a loyal fanbase as a result of this.
He was involved in a car accident last month, and JuiciNicole had revealed that he was put under a medically induced coma and on a ventilator as a result. She had posted back in July 2023:
“He is fighting, but he is stable. We’re asking for prayers from everyone and positive vibes only, guys.”
Fans were hoping he would quickly recover, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. On August 13, 2023, Kody’s star’s sister Zy’Kevia posted on TikTok that her brother had died after succumbing to the injuries he had sustained in his car accident.
Zy’Kevia, in her tribute to Zyquan Mitchell, wrote:
“Life will never be the same. Your smile was always priceless and could brighten up the whole room. Zyquan, how could you leave me? We were just getting started. Lord, I truly don’t understand. My baby brother (big brother), as you will say. Zyquan, I’m gonna miss you. Lord, why.”
JuiciNicole, Kody’s TikToker friend, also confirmed his passing and wrote:
“With pain in my heart and tears in my eyes, just know @Mr.Blicky, I love u! And I appreciate u and the friend u were to me! Plz help ease this pain, tho I am broken!”
Tributes and love for Kody are now pouring in on social media. One fan on Twitter wrote:
“Wtf famouskody from tiktok passed away?? Damn, I haven’t been on tiktok in a min. But I used to watch his life. Smh rest In Paradise kody!”
Another one penned down:
“Wow, Kody really passed 🥹.. we met via tiktok and use to be jocing! People really passing away so young.”
A third fan said:
“I see Kody from tik tok passed away. Smh. I use to love watching him dance .”
More information about his death is awaited as many fans want to know what exactly happened between his ventilation and death. No funeral information has been given at the time of his writing.
