Before she could even fathom what was happening, he put his arm around her shoulder without her consent. The visibly distraught streamer asked him not to hurt her arm as he pulled her. This nightmare spiraled even worse when he sexually assaulted her, as the viewers flooded the comments section with concerns for her safety.

May5w has a considerable Twitch following who likes to navigate through her little adventures. On one such occasion, the Korean streamer was visiting Hong Kong, vlogging her experiences live for her followers to enjoy.
On Sunday night, she set out to explore the streets of Hong Kong, probably trying to grasp the essence of the local vibes. While she was returning, a man crept from behind her, as seen in the video.
At first, even the viewers thought he might be trying to help or just a random person making small talk. But soon, they realized his foul intentions when he disrespected her privacy and put his arms around her shoulder.
The audacity of the creep to say that he was alone shows how little he valued women, implying that he could simply demand a woman’s company being a man. She tried to escape from his grip and started pacing downstairs at the metro station. But he kept following her. Ladies know that at this point, the danger has reached a critical level. He kept saying, “Listen, Listen, I am alone.”
In complete trauma, the streamer kept repeating, “I have to take the metro.”
The creep then continued with the most disgusting act by grabbing her from behind and sexually harassing her. She then yelled for help and said that she was not alone. The assailant then fled, suspecting that she might be with someone.
By the end of the video, another man can be seen walking with her; this time, the stranger is actually helping her, asking her if she is okay.

The investigators have not yet revealed the complete identity of the creep. However, some reports suggest that he is employed at the Indian restaurant Rajasthan Rifles in Hong Kong. He is reportedly a 46-year-old Indian national, and his name is Amit Jayral. Although unconfirmed, he was taken into custody on September 12 and is already on bail.
This case is reminiscent of what happened to another popular streamer, Mhyochi, in India this same year.
Some netizens victim-blamed, stating that the streamer was too friendly, which might have given the perpetrators an “invitation” to harass. This argument is the root, as some men feel entitled to act on their impulses.
Instead of advising women, it’s high time that we educate men. This case adds another shameful chapter to our society.
