In a dramatic turn of events, Phyllis ends up killing Stark in self-defense. Now, she’s got to lay low for even more reasons.
Michelle Stafford, the first and most enduring face of Phyllis, has become synonymous with the character. Despite rumors of Stafford growing weary of the role, it seems unlikely she’s saying goodbye anytime soon.
“There is more than one Phyllis Summers Newman. And we’ve grown to love them all,” a show insider shared. Stafford’s Instagram post on the soap’s 50th anniversary further cemented her commitment to the role.
