Padma Lakshmi, the gorgeous Top Chef host, found herself amid pregnancy rumors as the latest episode of the show aired on May 18.
The television presenter and writer looked stunning in the episode, but fans noticed a bump on her tummy. Many dismissed it as just an unflattering dress, but some stuck on to pregnancy speculation.

No, Padma Lakshmi is not pregnant. Although the blue bodycon dress that she wore in the recent episode of Top Chef gave her belly a rounder shaper than usual, the host and model has no plans for another child.
Padma’s Instagram account has plenty of evidence proving she is not pregnant. Just two weeks ago, she did a photo shoot for Sports Illustrated. At 52, she is still as fit as ever to be a swimsuit model. The pictures alone show a flat belly on her.
This is not the first time that Padma had to face pregnancy rumors. She talked about her bloating issues and endometriosis in 2006. Later in December 2020, she had to clarify again that she wasn’t pregnant but just had a burrito belly. “no, I am not pregnant; I just like tacos, and burritos and enchiladas…!!!”
In another reel, the model said some people commented that she had fat arms and should lift weights. She promptly responded to them with a middle finger. Padma has always been an icon for body positivity, and this shows how little she cares about what people think of her body.
