A successful podcast is not about the high production value, perfect acoustics, or multiple-angle cameras; the podcast thrives on the host and the producers. And you know the podcast is enjoyable when the entire crew has a jolly time.
One such cheerful squad that never fails to make the day is Your Moms House podcast. Hosted by the beloved couple of the stand-up comedy scene, Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky, the podcast’s inception in 2010 inspired many other comedians to start their own. Now, YMH has reached a decade-long milestone as one of the longest-running podcasts.
Over the years, the YMH crew gained popularity due to the camaraderie and the viewers relating to it, like feeling they are in on the inside jokes. The channel has amassed over 1.7 million subscribers, while the podcasts average around 500K to 1 million views.
Since the original podcast, the crew has produced more shows, including “2 Bears 1 Cave,” with Tom Segura and Bert Kreischer as hosts, “Dr. Drew After Dark,” hosted by renowned celebrity Dr. Drew, “The Danny Brown Show,” “Not Today Pal,” “Where My Moms At?” and many more.
Tom Segura is known for his quick and witty sense of humor and edgy jokes, which also sometimes land him hot water, like the one where he joked that Garth Brooks is a serial killer.
Every production crew member has also gained a considerable following as they appeared in the podcast, even if it was for brief moments.
However, one producer guy was famous among the viewers. Nadav Itzkowitz, the adorable, chubby, and reliable member, was the life of the party. But more than anything else, his contagious, genuine laughter in the background would make everyone’s day.
As a result, he, too, gained more than 100K followers on his social media. People loved him for his easy-going personality and his ability to take jokes as a good sport.
In a recent couple of days, rumors started floating that Nadav Itzkowitz had passed away after the YMH channel uploaded a video titled “No Ads| Farewell Nadav |Your Mom’s House Ep. 726.” The thumbnail contains a picture of Segura and Christina, while Nadav is in the middle with angel wings and a halo. However, the video was initially accessible only to the paid members, while most viewers were unaware of the contents of the episode. Some netizens derived a possible theory that Nadav has passed away. However, these rumors are debunked by Nadav himself as he bids farewell to the podcast to pursue other goals.
Is Nadav Itzkowitz Dead?
Itzkowitz earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California and entered the showbiz world with LXTV-NBC Universal.
He later joined the YMH podcast, given his experience as a producer. The jovial member was one of the fan favorites. Hence, it shocked the subscribers when the rumors of his demise surfaced.
As it turns out, episode 726 of the YMH podcast was an announcement that Nadav would be leaving the crew. It was a bittersweet farewell for the producer. Contrary to the trending searches online, Nadav Itzkowitz is not dead.
However, before the episode was made public to viewers, some non-credible “news” sources spread a hoax that Nadav had passed away.
Here’s How Nadav Itzkowitz Debunked His Own Death Hoax
Nadav was challenged to run a marathon that started off as a joke on one of the YMH episodes. Instead, he took the challenge and started preparing for it before it was announced that he was leaving the show.
Amidst the false rumors, Itzkowitz posted an Instagram story where he appeared to be running and addressed the YMH viewers–
“Marathon update- I’m not f**king dead, I’m very much alive. Things are changing. Watch YMH tomorrow. Good times.”
Hence, he debunked his death hoax while updating his preparation for the marathon.
