The Kardashian-Jenners know how to do one thing perfectly- put on a show. The family, best known for the Keeping Up With The Kardashians series and a bunch of entrepreneurial operations, are the premiere socialites of the country.
Every family pregnancy has been announced with some amount of panache, and Kourtney Kardashian’s latest one was too. Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are already parents to 6 children between them.
Travis has three kids with ex Shanna Moakler- Alabama, 17; Landon, 19; and Atiana, 24 (his stepdaughter). On the other hand, Kourtney has three children with ex-Scott Disick- Penelope Scotland, 10; Mason Dash, 13; and Reign Aston, 8. Now, the couple, who have been dating since 2021 and got married last year, might be expecting a baby together for the first time.
Yes, Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant. She announced the news to her husband, Travis Barker, the drummer of Blink-182, during a concert by the band. During the show, she was seen in a black turtleneck dress holding up a sign saying, “Travis, I’m Pregnant!” It’s speculated that the 44-year-old reality TV star has already completed her trimester, so her due date could be between September/ October to mid-December.
Is Kourtney Kardashian Pregnant?
Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant, and she announced the news to her husband, Travis Barker, in a cute way at the latest Blink-182 concert in Los Angeles’ BMO Stadium. During the show, she held up a handwritten sign saying, “Travis I’m Pregnant!”
Both posted a short video of this moment on their Instagram channels. The video also included Barker’s reaction as he looked shocked and dazed while performing on stage.
One of his Blink-182 bandmates called Barker repeatedly to get his attention. That bandmate can be heard saying, “We’ve got an announcement that somebody’s d—k still works! Let’s hear it for Travis … somebody’s having a baby!”
Barker then goes through the crowd to hug his spouse. The 44-year-old reality star revealed that she was inspired by a music video of the band’s 1999 song All The Small Things. In it, a fan was holding up a similar sign with the exact same writing of “Travis I’m Pregnant!” on it.
The reality TV star married the 47-year-old Blink-182 member thrice. First, they had an unofficial Las Vegas wedding after the Grammy Awards in April 2022. The second time was in May 2022 at a Los Angeles courthouse, where they exchanged vows, and the third time was in Italy in front of friends and family a few days later.
This pregnancy news comes after the two shared that they had abandoned IVF treatment but still hoped to have a child together. Kourtney had been open about how complicated the IVF process was for her. In a 2022 episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney said she was depressed due to the process. She expressed (via People magazine):
“Every single person on social media is always like, ‘Kourtney’s pregnant, Kourtney’s pregnant, Kourtney’s gained so much weight.’ I’m like; it’s so rude to comment on people when you have no idea what they’re actually going through.”
So she and her husband had abandoned that method. Kourtney confirmed this by saying in a recent episode of The Kardashians:
“We would love a baby more than anything, but I really believe in what God has in store for us. If that’s a baby, I believe it will happen.”
The almost impossible did happen for Kourtney and Travis, and now they are having a baby.
When Is Kourtney Kardashian Due?
Kourtney Kardashian’s due date hasn’t been revealed yet, and it’s entirely possible that the Kardashian clan won’t announce it before the child’s birth. However, it’s likely sometime around September/ October to mid-December. Some fans think the baby could arrive in October because most women don’t reveal what they’re expecting before the first trimester ends.
So, Kourtney was maybe three months along at the time of the announcement. However, it’s anyone’s guess right now when the due date is. But fans of the Kardashian and Jenner clan are celebrating all over social media regarding the happy announcement.
Update: On the One Life One Chance podcast, Travis Barker confirmed that Kourtney Kardashian’s due date was either Halloween or “the first week of November.” Also, the couple aren’t waiting for their child anymore. He has arrived!
As per ET, the Blink-182 drummer and the reality star have welcomed their son, whom they have allegedly named Rocky! Kourtney gave birth at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre on Monday. The site reported that:
“Kourtney gave birth, and she and Travis are so elated. They’re feeling extremely fortunate that both Kourtney and their baby are healthy after the complications Kourtney went through… Right now the couple is trying to enjoy this time, because they know it goes by fast.”
