Izzy Gleicher, one of the participants of Big Brother 25, has become quite popular recently, with the recent interactions in the house going viral as the houseguests develop strong connections with each passing day.
In case you’re not fully informed about Big Brother 25, the houseguests compete for a whopping $750,000 prize during their stay.
Despite the show being quite interesting, many viewers have become curious about Izzy, who hasn’t given any statement regarding her gender identity. However, Izzy addresses herself as she/her on her Instagram bio and a queer woman on Big Brother, from which we can glean what she wants to be identified. That being said, she receives enormous support from the LGBTQ+ community not only because she inspires many youngsters with her talents but also due to her supportive nature.
Izzy’s Journey to Stardom
Born and raised in New York, Izzy Gleicher is a proud New Yorker and regular performer of One Found Sound, an orchestra band based in San Fransisco.
However, that wasn’t enough to push her towards becoming one of the city’s best flute artists, and she collaborated with various music ensembles, including Argento New Music, Contemporaneous, and Talea.
Following that, she was also featured in a plethora of prestigious events such as Music of the Americas Society Composer Portrait Series, Park Avenue Armory Martian Creed The Back Door exhibit, and Guggenheim Museum Works.
Although she shot to fame after appearing in Big Brother season 25, her career path has aided in many of her endeavors, providing her with the strength and determination to continue despite the ordeals she had to go through as a Queer person.
During the participant’s introduction to Big Brother 25, she expressed her competitive spirit and how she views herself as a professional flutist. In her words,
“I’m one of the best flute players in this city. I got my master’s degree in flute performance from the Yale School of Music. Being a professional flute player is super competitive. Lots of people play the flute out there.”
She also added how she always had conflict regarding her gender, and it took a lot of time to figure out who she really was. “It took me a long time to figure out who I was, but now I feel like I get queerer and stronger and prouder every day.”
Izzy’s Relationships and Her Views on Big Brother
As far as we’re concerned, Izzy has been dating a woman named Paige Seber, who handles her Instagram account, for four years. Despite coming from different interests, the couple had shown a strong bond that made the fans wooing at every Instagram post they shared together. Izzy is a relatively new fan of Big Brother, having only binge-watched it recently, but she apparently watched every season twice to get a better understanding of how the show works. Her biggest fan and romantic life partner, Paige, shared on Instagram how she deliberately researched Big Brother prior to her participation, as well as her love for the series Survivor.
“What did you think Izzy was doing for all those years before she binged the entire BB canon 19 times in 3 days?? She was watching Survivor.”
On the other hand, Izzy shared her views on queer representation in Big Brother by saying, “I’m a proud queer woman, and representation hasn’t really been at the fullest in Big Brother.”
