How To Install Minecraft Bedrock 1.20.31 Update?
Mojang Studios has rolled out the Minecraft update 2.73, also known as Bedrock patch version 1.20.31. So, here is how you can install the latest patch version across all consoles, including Nintendo Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, Android, iOS, and PC.
PlayStation:
- Minecraft is automatically updated on PlayStation consoles if you have a stable internet connection.
- If you want to manually update it, navigate to the dashboard of your game, click on the settings icon, and choose “check for updates.”
Windows 10 and 11 (PC):
- Find and open the Microsoft Store app on your PC and locate the game in your library, or simply find it using the search box.
- After finding the app, press the Update button, and once the download has been finished, you will be able to access the latest Bedrock edition.
Xbox:
- On Xbox, you will find the “My Apps & Games” tab on your home screen. Choose it.
- Now click on “More Options” and select “Updates.”
- Once you see Minecraft amid the listed apps, initiate the download by clicking the update button, and you’re good to go.
Nintendo Switch:
- Nintendo Switch usually sends you a notification whenever a new update is released for Minecraft.
- If you can’t find it due to issues like an unstable internet connection, you can also access it from the eShop.
- In the eShop, search “Minecraft,” and you will find an update button next to it. By clicking it, you can own the latest version.
Android:
- To avoid any update-related issues in the future, you can simply turn on “Auto-Update” in your device’s settings, and every installment will be automatically downloaded.
- If not, go to Google Play Store and either go to the updates page or simply search Minecraft from the search box.
- Once you find it, click on the update button, and it will present you with the latest version once the download is finished.
iOS:
- Unlike Android devices, where you have to turn on the Auto-Update function, iOS devices usually have it turned on by default.
- If your device isn’t updating the game by default, you can either check for updates manually by opening the game or go to the App Store.
- In the game, you can check the version through the profile icon, and to update it, find Minecraft from the App Store and click Update.
