Despite being released over a decade ago, My Singing Monsters is just as famous as its debut time. It has become a nostalgic game for many, and as it keeps receiving new updates and events, gamers are satisfied with their islands full of chiming monsters.
From deep earthy hums to cute jingles, you will find monsters with every unique tune. Place them according to your wishes, and you will have a special rhythmic heaven on each island.
Some monsters can be bred anytime, but some seasonal ones can only be bred during special events. Yool is a prime example of a seasonal monster that can be produced on Cold Island.
So how does this white furry monster with reindeer hooves and antlers fare on the islands? How can you breed it to expand your collection? Read on to learn more about this cute seasonal monster.
How to Breed Yool?
Yool is a seasonal monster in the My Singing Monsters game. It can only be bred on Cold Island during the Festival of Yay by breeding Thumpies and Congle. However, you must be patient since Yool may not be generated on the first try.
Follow these instructions to breed Yool:
- Click on the Breeding Structure and open the menu of monsters.
- In the menu, select Thumpies and Congle to breed them.
- The default breeding time is one day 12 hours which you can speed up by using diamonds.
- Once you receive a Yool, you can keep it beside a monster or things it likes. This increases its happiness by 25%.
If you already have a Yool and its rare counterpart, then you can breed them both, which will 100% result in another Yool.
The breeding of Thumpies and Congle produces a Yool only on Cold Island. On Seasonal Shanty, you can only get a duplicate Yool by breeding a common Yool with its rare variant. If you don’t already have a Yool on Seasonal Shanty, you can only teleport it once it reaches level 15.
The Festival of Yay begins in the first week of December and lasts till the first week of January, effectively covering the winter holidays. The dates vary every year by a few days, so it’s best to stay updated.
What Does Yool from My Singing Monsters Like?
Like every monster in My Singing Monsters, Yool also has things he likes to be beside. Among monsters, Yool likes Thumpies, Deedge, and Blabbit. It also likes to be placed beside Crumpler and Piney Tree.
Since Yool is available to breed during the Festival of Yay, it also likes to be placed near the Festival of Yay Path, a red rug with a Christmas Tree in its middle. A Unity Tree on the island will also ensure the happiness of the monsters.
A Rare Yool also likes being placed beside a common Yool.
Placing Yool beside the elements he likes will increase his happiness by 25%. However, placing more than one of its liked elements near it won’t elevate its happiness percentage.
More Trivia on Yool
Yool was first introduced on December 6, 2012. Its sound is “Ho Ho Ho Ho” in a baritone voice, followed by sleigh bells.
You can also buy Yool for 225 Diamonds and sell it for 168750 Gold Coins. Its rare and epic versions can be purchased for 500 and 1000 Diamonds, respectively, and can be sold for a much higher cost than common Yool.
Yool does not have satisfactory coin production if collected once per day. However, after level 15, it has decent coin production.
Overall, Yool is an excellent addition to Cold Island and will definitely increase its holiday vibes. You must wait one and a half days for it to complete breeding, but trust me, the good boy is worth it.
