As 2023 comes to an end, everyone around is doing roundups of every possible thing. So, it’s time to calculate and count just how many games Sony brought to its PlayStation Plus monthly in 2023.

Also, what were these titles?

A total of 37 games were added to Sony’s PlayStation Plus in 2023. In January, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Axiom Verge 2, and Fallout 76 were added, while in December, LEGO® 2K Drive, PowerWash Simulator, and Sable were added.

In the world of gaming, few services have made as significant an impact as PlayStation Plus.

Launched in 2010, this subscription service has evolved over the years to become an indispensable component of the PlayStation gaming experience, and in 2022, it expanded its offerings to provide gamers with even more exciting features.

At its core, PlayStation Plus serves as the gateway to the online multiplayer world for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 console owners.

Gamers who wish to engage in epic battles or cooperative adventures with friends and foes across the globe need this subscription to access the multiplayer features of their favorite games.

Moreover, Sony’s PlayStation Plus offers a valuable perk for gamers who want to safeguard their progress: the ability to back up game save data in the PlayStation cloud.

PlayStation Plus is designed to cater to diverse gaming needs and preferences, offering three distinct tiers: Essential, Extra, and Premium.

While the Essential tier covers the basics, the Extra and Premium tiers take the gaming experience to the next level.

Subscribers of the latter two tiers gain access to an extensive library of PlayStation games, expanding their gaming horizons significantly.

One of the most exciting aspects of PlayStation Plus is the monthly offering of free games. Subscribers can download and keep these titles as long as they maintain their membership, creating an ever-growing gaming collection.

Furthermore, Sony extends its generosity to PlayStation Plus members by providing exclusive discounts and special offers in the PlayStation digital store, allowing gamers to enjoy their favorite titles at reduced prices.

Pricing Options

To cater to various budget preferences, Sony offers flexible pricing for PlayStation Plus:

  • PS Plus Essential: $9.99 monthly / $24.99 quarterly / $79.99 yearly
  • PS Plus Extra: $14.99 monthly / $39.99 quarterly / $134.99 yearly
  • PS Plus Premium: $17.99 monthly / $49.99 quarterly / $159.99 yearly

Additionally, all three tiers can be availed at a discounted rate when subscribers choose to pay for three months or a full year upfront, making it even more accessible to gamers.

For those who want to stay ahead of the curve, predicting the reveal date and time of the next PlayStation Plus games is a breeze.

Sony typically unveils the next PS Plus Essential games on the last Wednesday of each month, around 4:30 pm BST / 0:30 am PST / 5:30 pm CEST / 11:30 am EST.
