2023 is almost at an end. As such, Jujutsu Kaisen fans wonder if the second season of their beloved anime will end this year or if it will get carried into 2023.

Turns out it will end in 2023. But even then, one question remains- how many episodes remain? And more importantly- when will they air?

Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 has 23 episodes. As of the time of writing, only two more episodes are left. Episode number 22 will be released on December 21, 2023, while the next one will be released on December 28, 2023. Every Thursday in Japan and Southeast Asia, fans can catch the latest episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2. However, viewers in the United States and Europe will have to wait until Wednesdays to enjoy the action-packed episodes.

Crunchyroll offers streaming every Thursday at 10 a.m. PST and 1 p.m. EST for those who prefer to watch with English subtitles.

If you’re a fan of the English Dubbed version, you won’t have to wait too long, as these episodes are released every Saturday around 1 p.m. PST and 4 p.m. EST. However, there might be some delays sometimes.

As we near the season’s conclusion, only two episodes remain in this epic journey.

Episode 22 is scheduled for release on December 21, 2023, followed by the grand finale, Episode 23, on December 28, 2023. Remember that Episode 22 is also called Jujutsu Kaisen Episode 46 in the overall series.

While the English Dubbed version is slightly behind the simulcast, fans can expect it to drop just before the start of 2024.

In terms of content, Season 2 is divided into two parts. The first part, known as the “Gojo’s Past Arc,” adapts volumes 8 and 9 of the manga.

The second part focuses on the “Shibuya Incident Arc,” a significant event mentioned in the previous season and the “JJK 0” movie.

For those looking to catch up, the first season, spanning 24 episodes, is available on various platforms, including Crunchyroll, Netflix, Disney Plus, Funimation, and Bilibili.

What Happened In Episode 21 of Jujutsu Kaisen?

Praise the animators. They made sure Mahito looked like a BITCH today 😂😂😂 Got that nigga crying, whining, throwing dirt at Yuji. YOU ARE NOT HIM💀 pic.twitter.com/u2OYKQbJyj

In a recent “Jujutsu Kaisen” episode, fans witnessed a dramatic shift in the ongoing battle against the formidable Mahito.

The episode showcased Mahito in a pitiful condition, a sight that brought fans a sense of satisfaction given his ruthless brutality history. Mahito found himself desperately crawling and fleeing from Yuji’s relentless pursuit.

The episode marked a significant moment as Yuji finally achieved his long-awaited revenge for the likes of Junpei, Nanami, Nobara, and the countless innocent lives that had fallen victim to Mahito’s heinous acts.

I find it so funny that Itadori could have killed Mahito right then and there if he didn't kick Mahito right over to Geto 😭 #JujutsuKaisen #呪術廻戦 pic.twitter.com/L2ssOVcL9V

It was a hard-fought victory but one that carried immense emotional weight.

Even Aoi Todo, a character who holds Yuji dear, was pushed to the brink of death in his relentless battle against Mahito.

While Aoi managed to save his life narrowly, the price was steep, as he lost his hand and technique in the process. Without his technique, Aoi’s ability to combat powerful adversaries was severely diminished.

Despite his sacrifices and limitations, Aoi Todo continued offering unwavering support to Yuji in their shared pursuit of defeating the villainous Mahito.

As Yuji closed in on Mahito after their intense battle, a new player entered the scene – Kenjaku.

Kenjaku, tasked with overseeing the Prison Realm that had sealed Satoru Gojo, posed a critical question to Mahito: should he save him?

But the query lingers – is the ancient curse user genuinely inclined to show kindness in this dark and dangerous world?

Fans will be eager to see how this intriguing development unfolds in the series.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s second season can be streamed on Crunchyroll, Netflix, and Bilibili.

How do you think season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen will end? Do you believe Mahito will return in the future?
