Ufotable is working quickly to ensure that Genshin Impact lovers have something to look forward to as the anime moves ahead courtesy of a strict schedule.
The planned Genshin Impact project headlined by Ufotable (known for Demon Slayer, Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works) will have a prequel story that will focus on the war involving mighty Archons in Tevyat.
Viewers shall witness the destruction of the great kingdom of Khaenriah and the introduction of Aether and Lumine (siblings who fulfill the role of the protagonist and antagonist, depending on choices undertaken by the gamer). More than 25% of the production has been completed.
We can speculate that the anime series will be released sometime in 2023 if a delay doesn’t occur because of a sudden unseen reason. It will probably include multiple seasons if the anime turns out to be a hit (which is likely considering the huge number of people who play the game regularly).
Currently, no footage from the series has been showcased, so fans will have to wait a little longer to get a proper peek at what’s about to come. Keep in mind the leak isn’t official yet.

About Genshin Impact
A game developed by Hoyoverse (previously miHoYo), Genshin Impact became a profound success amongst open-world enthusiasts who enjoy gaming on androids and other mobile devices. The story follows a brother and a sister, one of whom gets kidnapped by a mysterious deity. To rescue a beloved sibling, you must embark on an enlightening journey in a land you’ve never visited.
Guided by Paimon (a mascot), the players must make their way through kingdoms like Mondstadt (blessed by the wind Archon Venti), Liyue (where the Geo Archon Zhongli dwells), Inazuma (ruled by the Electro dictator Raiden Shogun), Sumeru (the world of plants and the Dendro Archon Kusanali), Fontaine, Natlan, and finally Snezhnaya.
Overwhelmed by formidable enemies, the player must find a way to rescue their sibling from walking a dark path and also save those cursed with an uncertain fate. The game was released for Android, iOS, iPadOS, Windows, and PlayStation 4 in 2020 and on PlayStation 5 in 2021. A Nintendo Switch release has also been scheduled. To date, it is one of the most popular games and has a unique story coupled with spectacular animation and refreshing music.
