Chrisley Knows Best exemplifies a family that has more skeletons in the closets than the entire town population. Chrisleys never fails to astonish the viewers with their extravagant lives and show us a glimpse of ‘rich people’s problems.’
This voyeurism into the opulent life of a real estate tycoon and his complexly woven family takes unexpected turns that no one would have seen coming.
The family has been recently marred by a series of controversies and tragedies that kept the viewers on the edge of their seats.
Lindsie Chrisley, currently 34 years old, the eldest daughter of Todd Chrisley and his ex-wife Teressa Terry, is very much alive, contrary to the misinformation about her demise floating on the internet.
Lindsey, who also has her own podcast, stated the reason why she did not address the sudden passing of her step-sister Savannah Chrisley’s ex-fiance, Nic Kerdiles, who passed away in a fatal crash on September 23, 2023, is because it would come across as insincere.
Did Lindsie Chrisley Really Die?
Chrisley Knows Best, which premiered first on March 11, 2014, navigates the lives of Todd, the real estate tycoon, and his wealthy family. The show, which has a successful run of 10 seasons, has been a roller coaster ride of keeping up with uber-rich people.
The latest season began with a scandal when Todd and his wife, Julie Chrisley, were arrested for tax invasion and wire fraud after being first indicted in 2019. Although the couple managed to deflect the allegations for three years, they were finally sentenced to 12 and 9 years, respectively, on January 2023.
The parent couple is slated for release in 2028 after their sentences were reduced by two years each.
The family also faced a significant loss when daughter Savannah’s ex-fiance, Nic Krediles, passed away on September 23, 2023, in a tragic motorbike accident. The professional ice hockey player (29) was engaged to Savanna (26) but decided to end it a few years later. The untimely demise of Krediles was a shock to the Chrisleys, especially Savannah.
The issue arose after Lindsie Chrisley, Savannah’s step-sister, refused to acknowledge Krediles’s death. Lindsie posted on her birthday, just a couple of days after the tragic loss. Her comments section was flooded with criticisms for not paying condolences to Krediles.
Lindsie then addressed the issue on her podcast, Coffee Convos, discussing with her co-host Kail Lowry that she wanted to respect Krediles and his family and not post anything is the best thing to do while the family mourns his demise as it would be insincere in her own way.
Lindsie said,
“It would almost come across, based off of the events that have taken place with myself and my sister … it would feel insincere”
“It’s my understanding that the family does not want his memory to be overshadowed by the Chrisley family. And so for that reason, that is why I’ve not said anything on social media whatsoever.”
Reports also suggest that Savannah and Lindsie are not on talking terms after Lindsie decided not to be a part of the reality series anymore. However, she does have recurring appearances on the show.
Lindsie Chrisley is now the target of a death hoax after unverified reports blew up the claims that Chrisley had passed away suddenly on November 20 under mysterious circumstances. These rumors were quickly debunked, and Lindsie Chrisley is very much alive and thriving.
