Beloved Wild ‘N Out star Jacky Oh passed away on June 1, 2023, on a trip to Miami. The 32-year-old mother of three was the long-term partner of DC Young Fly, and her absence is sorely felt by many.
Jacklyn Smith revealed that she adopted the name Jacky Oh as a friend of hers constantly called her by the nickname in college.
Jacky became famous for her roles in the MTV show Wild ‘N Out. She had business smarts, which led her to open her own brand J Nova Collection, which specialized in lip glosses, lashes, and other makeup items.
The world came to know about the tragedy via MTV Wild’ N Out’s Instagram post, where they expressed their condolences for the passing away of Jacklyn Smith.
Jacky Oh was reportedly on a trip to Miami for a “mommy makeover” when she died. However, her cause of death was never revealed and is being kept under wraps. The secrecy didn’t stop fans from speculating the cause of her death, and many suspect it was due to invasive surgery. As of DC Young Fly, he may be alive, but this has got to be hurting him.
Wild ‘N Out is where she met her partner, DC Young Fly, another prominent member of the show. They met in 2015 when DC Young Fly debuted on the show, and Jacky was already popular for her role.
CD Young Fly is still a big star in the improv comedy show and was actually in Atlanta shooting new episodes when news of Jacky’s death reached him.
After the season ended, they dated for almost two years before having their first child, Nova Whitfield, in 2016. In 2020, Jacky was pregnant with their second child and gave birth to Nala in August of the same year.
In July 2022, Jacky and Young Fly had their third child, Prince. With this, the family was complete and seemed very happy from their Instagram and YouTube posts. However, the beautiful family was ripped apart as Oh passed away yesterday.
Jacky’s last post was on May 19, where she showed her children sleeping.
The death of Oh will be unimaginably hard on her long-time partner DC Young Fly and even more so on her three children, one of whom is not even a year old.
