Developed by Recreate Games, Party Animals is a chaotic co-op game that already has a lot of concurrent players right after its release. The game features cute little critters, and the gamers can take control of adorable, clumsy animals.
With a powerful right hook, they join up to seven other players in punching, dropkicking, headbutting, and flopping their way to victory in a variety of different mind-blowing challenges.
The game does provide lots of laughs as players attempt to toss, grapple, and hit, as the gamers can also swing their pals around in the gameplay. Being a multiplayer game, Party Animals also supports crossplay. They can pick a crocodile, a corgi, a cat, an otter, or any other characters and play the game from PC on Xbox and vice versa without any issues.
Can Gamers Crossplay Party Animals?
The highly-anticipated cute co-op brawler features seamless crossplay between platforms for gamers. Party Animals will allow gamers from a different console or operating system to play together.
With the release of its demo, the game was not supported by many platforms. Even after its launch, it was not a console-exclusive, instead was a company-exclusive game.
It doesn’t matter if the gamers play Party Animals on Xbox or PC as everyone can interact with other players from anywhere in the world just with the help of the internet. They will choose their character and their skin and start playing the game.
Which Consoles Support Party Animals?
As the game is available on Windows, Xbox X, and S series, Party Animals allows gamers within the same environment to cross. Gamers having Xbox can play with Windows PC or laptop users as they can play through Steam. However, it is yet to be made official whether the game will be available for PlayStation/Nintendo Switch or not.
Does Party Animal Support Cross-Save Feature?
With the advancement of technology, there is a cross-save feature that helps gamers save their game progress on any device and later start it from the other. It allows sharing the progress across different platforms when the gamer plays on any device. However, as of writing, Party Animal does not support this feature.
As the feature would be missing, it means if the gamers start the game on their Xbox, they will not be able to recover their progress if they open the game on the PC after cross-playing.
The game does not have a complicated storyline or character progression, so losing the progress would not really affect the gamers. However, they can stick to their own console and continue to play the game.
Let us know in the comments about the feature in the Party Animals game.
