Zachary Lane Bryan is a popular name in the Folk music world. He is an American singer-songwriter from Oologah, Oklahoma, who resides in the hearts of millions of fans but last Thursday, something happened that shook Zach’s entire fanbase.
The popular star, Mr. Zachary Bryan, 27, was arrested and taken into custody in Oklahoma. Reportedly, he was charged with obstructing an investigation. According to Craig County records, Bryan was detained at about 6:40 p.m. He was moved to the Craig County Sheriff’s office in Vinita, Oklahoma. It was reported that Zachary and his security guard were traveling from Vinita, Oklahoma. They were asked to pull over by the Police, and before he could be asked to get back in the car, he grew impatient. The argument escalated, and he ended up behind bars. Shortly after, he was promptly released on bond.
Why Was Zach Byran Arrested?
On Thursday, police took Zach Byran under their custody, claiming that Zach obstructed the investigation of a case. As per the Oklahoma laws, obstructing any investigation is treated as –
“Willfully delaying or obstructing any public officer in the discharge or attempt to discharge any duty of his office.”
Bryan was then moved to the Craig County Sheriff’s Office for further procedures. However, within a few hours, he was released on bond.
Following this tragic event, Bryan dropped a statement on X. He revealed –
“Today I had an incident with the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Emotions got the best of me and I was out of line in the things I said.”
“I support law enforcement as much as anyone can, I was just frustrated at the moment, it was unlike me and I apologize. They brought me to jail, and there is a mugshot of me floating around. Prayers we can all move on from this and prayers people know I’m just trying the best I can, I love you guys and I am truly sorry to the officers.”
Although the Craig County Sheriff has not opened up much about the matter, as per the reports, Zach Bryan was only accused of obstructing a police investigation. These allegations made the authorities arrest the singer on the spot.
However, Mr. Zach got bail within 90 minutes of his arrest, and he was allowed to leave the Craig County Jail.
