In a November 20, 2023, article, The Laurel reported that Wendell Edwards had left the morning anchor team at WFSB after joining in January 2021. Edwards was a part of Hartford, Connecticut’s WFSB Channel 3 Eyewitness News.
The site wrote:
“His last day on the air was last Thursday, according to sources familiar with the change. Insiders say there was no explanation given to staff.”
Also, the WFSB site has removed him from their “Meet The Team” page. On his LinkedIn page, Edwards lists himself as “Open to Work.” Interestingly, his LinkedIn experience page still lists him as the morning anchor of WFSB.
But Edwards may not have gotten around to updating that.
