This rumor originated probably because Tom Holland announced that he is pausing his acting career for a year after the release of his Apple TV+ drama, The Crowded Room.
It’s because playing a sex offender diagnosed with schizophrenia disturbed him. So he wants to recover from that experience. Holland also mentioned that being a producer on the project added to his mental stress. However, some interpreted this announcement as a result of his breakup with Zendaya.
One Twitter account posted, “Zendaya and Tom Holland have officially broken up.” This began the rumor and ignited social media platforms. Other users backed up the claim too, and then Zendaya and Holland’s fans began their hunt to find out if this news was correct.
Over time, people took the tweets of the couple breaking up as fact and began mourning the demise of a beloved couple. One Twitter user wrote, “Not to be dramatic or anything, but if Zendaya and Tom Holland break up I will never recover.” However, the truth is that Zendaya and her Spider-Man co-star haven’t broken up.
