People were confused when Eminem began trending last night, and his fans almost had a heart attack.

After all, the thought of the 8 Mile star passing away unexpectedly is unfathomable. But did the hero really die? Or is he alive?

No, Eminem didn’t pass away. The news came to light after @thatsarapfact tweeted a Google search result stating that the rapped has passed away today. However, the news is fake, and there has been no official confirmation from his team regarding this. The Google search result has been corrected, too.

On December 10, 2023, a Twitter user named Rap Facts, with the handle @thatsarapfact, expressed astonishment and confusion after encountering a Google search result.

It suggested that the iconic American rapper Eminem had met an untimely demise. The now-deleted tweet featured a screenshot of this search result, displaying the alarming headline “Eminem Passed Away Today” and providing a link to a supposed news article.

Predictably, this tweet swiftly garnered attention, setting off a flurry of discussions and concerns among fans and followers alike.

While the tweet itself lacked any further elaboration or contextual information regarding this incident, it did shine a spotlight on the pervasive issue of false or misleading information increasing at lightning speed on the internet.

In this particular instance, the unfounded rumor of Eminem’s passing sent ripples of bewilderment and disquiet through his fan base.

It is essential to emphasize that the tweet offers no substantiating evidence or official confirmation of Eminem’s alleged demise.

To the best of our knowledge, there has been no credible confirmation regarding Eminem’s health. In fact, it appears he is in good health.

The tweet also thoughtfully links to the original search result, which has been rectified and later removed by Google.

This strongly suggests that the initial search result was, in all likelihood, an inadvertent error or a case of misinformation that Google promptly rectified.

Nevertheless, the enduring presence of the tweet’s screenshot serves as another reminder of the potential repercussions and impact of spreading unverified information.

Regrettably, the propagation of misinformation or erroneous reports regarding celebrities’ deaths is unfortunately commonplace. Eminem himself has been its target several times previously.

Eminem’s False Death Reports Were Circulated Previously Too

In August 2023, the phrase “Eminem dead” gained traction on social media, sparking widespread concern about the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer’s well-being.

According to The Sun US, these rumors about Eminem’s demise originated from a deceptive Facebook page named “R.I.P Eminem,” which falsely proclaimed the rapper’s passing.

Many fans encountering this page took the claims at face value, reacting on social media and inadvertently perpetuating the unfounded notion.

However, skeptics in the online community pointed out a conspicuous absence of coverage by reputable entertainment outlets, which seemed implausible given Eminem’s immense popularity and critical acclaim.

When the hoax reached Eminem’s management team, they responded directly, affirming (via Distractify):

“He’s still alive and well. Stop believing what you see on the Internet.”

This straightforward statement might stem from previous instances when Eminem’s alleged death circulated online.

As reported by The Sun, the 15-time Grammy winner had been the target of one more death hoax in December 2022, accompanied by the hashtag #RIPEminem on Twitter.

Furthermore, Eminem finds himself entangled in an eccentric conspiracy theory that posits his demise in 2006 and his replacement with a clone by the Illuminati secret society.

According to this bizarre theory, the Illuminati obtained Eminem’s DNA and created a duplicate of the “Lose Yourself” artist, the one fans know today.

2. EMINEM IS A CLONE :

There is a widespread conspiracy theory that Eminem died in 2006 and was replaced by a lookalike. After some fans noticed that the singer's voice changed, they naturally concluded that the rapper must have died. A Spanish website.

Such outlandish claims illustrate the far-reaching impact of misinformation and conspiracy theories in the age of the internet.

Did you believe the Eminen has passed away rumors as well? Do you think there’s a way to stop this misinformation from spreading?
