Shockwaves ran through the internet when people saw Bruce Willis trending. Many thought that he had died. 

After all, he has been dealing with Aphasia and then with frontotemporal dementia for a long time. This makes it hard for him to communicate, remember things, etc. 

As such, many of his fans were worried that he didn’t have long to live. So. is Willis okay? Or is the news of his death a hoax?

Bruce Willis is alive as of December 7, 2023. The rumors circulating about his death are false. However, his family is worried about his health after his Aphasia and frontotemporal dementia diagnosis. So they are spending as much time as possible with him.

As of December 7, 2023, Bruce Willis is alive. The rumors circulating about his passing are false. However, his family is worried. They are spending every moment possible with him because they fear the worst. 

In March 2022, the family disclosed that Bruce Willis, aged 68, had been contending with Aphasia, a language disorder affecting communication skills.

Subsequently, in February, they shared the unfortunate news of his frontotemporal dementia (FTD) diagnosis, a condition typically associated with a short life expectancy of six to eight years. However, some medical sources suggest it can be as short as two years.

Since then, Emma, 45; Tallulah, 29; Mabel, 11; Rumer, 35; Demi, 61; Scout, 32; and Evelyn, 9, have steadfastly rallied around him, offering constant support and care.

This Thanksgiving was especially hard for the Willis family. Scout Willis, daughter of the famous actor Bruce Willis, shared a poignant Instagram video depicting a heartfelt moment between her and her father, who is currently battling frontotemporal dementia.

The video showcased them holding hands at a table, with a photo capturing Scout cradling her father’s hand against her face. 

Bruce’s wife, Emma, also posted a throwback family photo featuring their daughters, Evelyn and Mabel, alongside the actor’s ex-wife, Demi Moore, and his older daughters, Scout, Rumer, and Tallulah. 

Emma expressed gratitude for the enduring love within their extended family circle.

One US Weekly source explained the Willis family situation by saying:

“Bruce has good days and bad days, but in the last two months, there are many more bad days than good. This experience has brought the whole family even closer together. No one knows how much time Bruce has left, so they’re soaking up every moment they get with him.”

The magazine also states that the whole family is living together to care for Willis. US Weekly wrote:

“Once Bruce was diagnosed, everyone came together to keep his memory of the family intact and to be there as a constant reminder [that they] love him. [Everything] revolves around him. Bruce has around-the-clock care, but at least one family member is always with him.”

But how is Willis doing? The magazine says his health is in decline. They wrote:

“He is declining, but he’s in great hands and has his family and close friends supporting him. Plus, the health care he receives is impeccable. (Willis) is still mostly there and present when he’s mentally and physically able.”

Fans were grateful to learn that their favorite action star is receiving the best care possible. Many also vowed not to believe any rumors of his death until it came from one of the family members.
