James Harden, the shooting/point guard for the Philadelphia 76ers, is a name synonymous with the G.O.A.T in the making. The 10-time All-Star, 2018 MVP, and 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist is one of the most decorated basketball players of the current era. While his majestic facial hair has been widely recognized, the NBA star is fondly referred to as The Beard.
On the other hand, Lil Baby went from the streets to the mainstream in a matter of years, with his debut studio album “Harder than Ever,” earning him his first entry on Billboard 100. That was just the starting pavement for the rapper as his career trajectory took him to the milestone of winning a Grammy Award for Best Melodic Rap Performance.
Having said that, the recent news baffled the internet when the two proficient men in their respective fields were embroiled under the net set off by a cupid’s arrow.
On October 23, 2023, a verified Twitter account, @TheNBACentel, posted that James Harden and Lil Baby are in a relationship. The post claims that Harden and Lil Baby have been companions for the past three years now, secretly. However, these claims are entirely false, as the post was made from a parody account.
Is James Harden in a Relationship with Lil Baby?
NBA Centel is an openly parody and fan account that harps on fake tweets, scandalous false reports, and sensationalized tabloid articles.
On October 23, 2023, the account posted a tweet that suggested that James Harden, the proficient NBA star, has been in a relationship with the rising star rapper Lil Baby for the past three years. The now-deleted post quotes Harden, stating–
“I enjoy him; he enjoys me. That’s how we bromance. Life’s good for me right now.”
Soon, more accounts projected the fake news further, claiming that a leaked video exists where the “Go Hard” rapper Lil Baby is performing fellatio on The Beard.
The video was first uploaded on October 22, when the two men were unidentified. But some sources propagated the rumors that one of the men is a “Stand on It” rapper. After the rumors of Harden in a relationship with Lil Baby surfaced, netizens inferred that the other man in the video was Harden.
However, these videos, claims, and speculations hold no truth and are just a means of trolling.
Since the leaked video fiasco, Lil Baby has set the record straight by putting out an assertive statement–
As per the dating history, both men in this story are presumably straight.
James Harden was involved with several A-list socialites, including Khloe Kardashian and Amber Rose. Meanwhile, Lil Baby has dated influencer Jayda Cheaves in 2020.
