Are you ready to rumble? MAGA 2.0 is here!

Trump announced that he is running for the 2024 presidential elections. Loyal supporters are excited about his campaign, considering how unhinged, entertaining, and dramatic the 2016 Trump show was.

Since Trumps latest gag order has anyone discerned the MAGA 2024 Presidential platform?

Iโ€™m stuck with โ€œI will make Mexico build and pay for a border wall.โ€ (Massive 2016 campaign promise failure). And โ€œBetter more affordable healthcare.โ€ (Trump wanted us to ingest bleach).

As he failed to continue for the second tenure in 2020, Trump accused everyone in sight that the elections were rigged. He even forged documents, implying that he won the elections, but instead, Biden stole the seat. And then his words orchestrated one of the worst riots on January 6, inciting violent attacks on the U.S. capitol and obstructing the official proceeding, where his allies disrupted the electoral vote’s certification in January 2021.

Ever since Trump left office in 2021, he has been haunted by a series of indictment charges, receiving Target Letters, and facing several criminal charges. Some of the major allegations against Trump could land him in precarious prison sentences, such as

  • Conspiracy to defraud the U.S. is punishable by a fine or up to five years in prison.
  • Obstructing an official proceeding is punishable by a fine or up to 20 years in prison.
  • Conspiracy against rights is punishable by a fine of not more than 10 years in prison or both.

Meanwhile, four separate criminal charges are hovering on his record, alleging that Trump’s hotel, Mar-a-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, was used to conceal the official government documents he took from the White House after leaving in 2021.

One might wonder how Trump will bounce back when such severe allegations mar his record. But that’s the genius of a Trump campaign; he will use the allegations against him to prove that he is the target of a mass conspiracy.

Now that his campaign has started, it’s only a matter of time before he spews an excellent saga of MAGA and how he is the only leader who can achieve the American dream. And this time, he decided to kick off his campaign at a place that will guarantee him votes.

On September 25, Donald Trump visited the small town of Summerville in South Carolina. After his visit, a video went viral on X, showing that Trump was fascinated by a “Trump 45th” Glock. Then he was heard saying, “I want to buy one. Isn’t a Glock a great gun?”

This sparked criticisms against Trump, stating that it is illegal to own/possess a firearm since he is under a felony criminal indictment.

Then Trump’s spokesperson Steven Cheung wrote in a post, “President Trump buys a @GLOCKInc in South Carolina!” He deleted the post after a short while and issued another statement: “President Trump did not purchase or take possession of the firearm. He simply indicated that he wanted one.”

As a matter of fact, Trump did not buy the gun. He only expressed his desire to buy one.

Did Trump Buy a Gun?

As a supporter of gun rights, Trump visited the Palmetto State Armory outlet in Summerville, South Carolina. He was seen scanning the shop and was particularly fascinated by the dullish gold firearm. This was a special edition Glock, which was named as “Trump 45th.” This piqued his interest even more, as he was quoted saying that the gun was a “great seller.”

The Trump supporter who posted the viral video of Donald insisting he wanted to buy a Glock โ€“ which legally could have gotten Donald in a lot of legal trouble โ€“ย DELETED it.

Too late. I already put it in the family archive. ๐Ÿงต๐Ÿ‘‡ pic.twitter.com/gN2buUVlLd

In the video, he clearly says, “I want to buy one,” at least twice. The video went viral since people have been dissecting the frame, suggesting that he bought the gun.

To make matters worse, his spokesperson, Steven Cheung, posted on social that Trump has indeed purchased the Glock. This confirmed the suspicions, and critics and netizens bashed the former president for possessing firearms when he was in the middle of federal investigations and indictments.

However, Cheung quickly deleted the post and clarified that Trump had just expressed his desire to buy one. He further stated that the Republican frontrunner hasn’t really bought the gun.

A political commentator, Brian Tyler Cohen, also known to criticize the Trump administration, expressed his stance that-

“Donald Trump is under felony criminal indictment and thus cannot legally own or purchase a gun.”

Trump campaigns in a gun store and is presented with a Glock semi-automatic handgun with his image on it. Ironic, being that under federal criminal indictment, itโ€™s illegal for him to obtain, receive, or purchase a gun. pic.twitter.com/K3kfK3YZEV

As per the federal gun law, an individual is barred from receiving a gun “which has been shipped or transported in interstate or foreign commerce” if they are under felony indictment.

At the same time, the same law, 18 U.S.C. 922, states that the merchants who sell firearms to those under indictment for crimes with sentences of more than a year will face legal charges themselves.

However, the law does not prohibit these individuals from buying/possessing weapons.

Hereโ€™s the thing you have to understand about Trump, and take this in context w/his gun porn today, If someone said, โ€˜Boss, we donโ€™t have to wait until Nov โ€˜24, we can return you to power TODAY but it will cost several million USA lives. He would without hesitation say: โ€˜Do itโ€™.

Hunter Biden buys a gun after lying about using drugs

Republicans: That's bad!

Trump buys a gun while under felony indictment.

Republicans: FREEDUMB!!! 2nd Amendment!!!

Trump spokesperson: Trump aids and abets a violation of criminal law while out on bail when he bought a gun — and then retracts and says Trump did not buy a gun.
Time for a grand jury investigation…..how is this not AT LEAST as bad as what Hunter Biden is charged with? https://t.co/H4w8qBTd8K

From a little girl who wrote school plays and made her friends act in them to an adolescent who got into dark humor, Yashica has built her own universe of peculiar characters inspired by great cinema. She has imbibed the philosophies of David Fincher's characters but lives like the eccentricity of Phoebe Waller Bridge's women. Her metahumans are those who can use the power of words to create an elixir of emotions and bring them to life on screen. Jordan Peele, Issa Rae, Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Ilana-Abbi, Raj-DK, Anurag Kashyap, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and others are her Marvel's Avengers. With over two years of experience as a content writer, her writing pieces are well-researched, with a sprinkle of her opinions/inferences that keep the audiences engaged. She is still exploring more on the anime scene but is highly intrigued by it. The cinephile in her makes her appreciate the intricacies of filmmaking. You will get a lot more insight into it in her articles and thoroughly enjoy her explanations. Well, someday, you might see Yashica as one of the writers for a movie-- it's her ultimate dream!
