After working with the company for approximately 3 years, he left the label in 2022. The singer got extreme fame and appreciation for his hit songs like “Ponmo,” “Feel Good,” and “KPK (Ko Por Ke)”. The song ‘KPK,’ the last of which received three nominations at The Headies Awards in 2022.
His music career started with the release of his debut album, “Light EP,” in the year 2020. MohBad’s album featured various artists like Davido, Naira Marley, and Lil Kesh. The album also garnered him five nominations at The Beatz Awards in 2021. He also earned a spot in Audiomack’s list of top 21 Afrobeat artists in 2021. In 2022, MohBad released a single song called “Peace”. The song was produced by Rexxie and made appearances on various music charts.
MohBad also had a fair share of controversy in his life. In February 2022, he, along with fellow artist Zinoleesky, faced legal trouble from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
