However, for the past few years, she hasn’t been very active, although Celine has appeared in a few concerts around the world. While many of her fans know her condition, it’s hard to accept the truth that such a great singer has been hit with a rare disease.
Apparently, Celine Dion has been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome and hasn’t been her best self ever since. Unfortunately, she had to cancel many tours, and her situation is uncertain to many of her fans.

Where Is Celine Dion Today, and How Long Has She Been Sick?
Celine Dion is currently residing in Las Vegas along with her sister, Linda Dion, who is acting as her live-in caretaker. It has been over a year since Celine has been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome.
In April 2022, she had to postpone her tours due to unexpected health conditions, but she didn’t announce it plainly back then. Instead, she posted on Instagram that she had to postpone her plans once again in Europe (previously delayed due to the pandemic).
While everyone believed that she would get better in a few months as she took immense care with experts by her side, the situation didn’t improve much. In December 2022, she once again had to postpone the tour.
However, she has been sick since January 2022 as she had to cancel the already confirmed concert. Celine posted on Instagram about how she was sorry about canceling it all of a sudden and refunded the tickets to the audience.
How Is Celine Dionโs Health Today?
Ever since her announcement in December 2022, she seems to be taking extra care of her health as she really wanted to get back on stage and release more songs and music videos that fans adore.
In fact, she even created new music for the 2023 film Love Again, which stars Priyanka Chopra. In addition, her other sister, Claudette Dion, also spoke to several news outlets about her current condition earlier this year.
While she mentioned that several specialists are trying to get her condition back to optimal as she couldn’t quite perform her 100% due to the Stiff Person Syndrome, in August 2023, she once again had to cancel her plans of getting back on stage.
Apparently, there is currently no cure for the disease, so she is slowly recuperating and healing at a moderate pace. So, it may take some time before she gets back in good condition.
