The rapper was brutally shot multiple times in 2017, which caused paralysis. However, there is more to the case than meets the eye. The rapper was shot twice in the same year, which made many question the connection between the two crimes.

What Happened to Keak da Sneak? Why Is He in a Wheelchair?
Keak Da Sneak was shot in January 2017 during an attempted robbery. The rapper managed to survive the shooting without any life-threatening injuries and began carrying a gun for protection. However, it led to a firearm charge, and while he was on trial, Keak was targeted in a second shooting. Keak fell into a coma and was paralyzed after waking up, which is why he is in a wheelchair.
The first robbery incident prompted Williams to get an illegal gun as he realized how dangerous it is to travel alone most of the time. However, the same gun got him in trouble as the reportedly stolen weapon was found in his car. The rapper was shot when he was out on bail.
Keak Da Sneak was attacked twice in a single year. Sneak was shot eight times in the torso in front of a gas station in Richmond, California. He underwent several hours of surgery and fell into a coma for three days.
Afterward, Keak was unable to walk and bound to a wheelchair. The rapper even revealed that his spleen was ruptured in the shooting. Keak was still ordered to finish his prison sentence, which was reduced to six months.
The rapper served his time in the California State Prison and was released after serving only five months. Police refrained from commenting on whether the first and second shooting incidents were related.
In 2019, the rapper posted on Twitter saying that he really appreciated the love but did not need sympathy just because he was in a chair. He was facing major health issues even two years after the shooting.
While Keak has not updated about his health in 2023, we hope that the rapper is recovering from his ordeal.
