- August 2020:
Megan accused Tory of shooting her on Instagram Live. She admitted that she didn’t get cut by glass and gave false info to the police as she was scared that the police would shoot her since Lanez had a gun in the car.
- September 2020:
Lanez posted a tweet apologizing for his silence and released his album ‘Daystar’ the next day, where he sang, “How the f**k you get shot in your foot, don’t hit no bones or tendons.” The artist received criticism for his insensitivity.
- October 2020:
