Another fabulous day for trolls, as they have found their newest prey, and it seems unforgivable. In a recent event in Tulsa, Oklahoma, an elderly woman who was a member of ‘Moms of Liberty’ was seen involved in an indecent activity.
It all happened at Tulsa Public School, where many politically motivated groups assembled in a press conference. Two groups, ‘Moms of Liberty’ and ‘Defence of Democracy’, got into a heated argument.
Roberta Pfanstiel, a member of ‘Moms of Liberty,’ started misbehaving with the veterans who arrived for ‘Defence of Democracy.’ She first spit, then assaulted the veteran women by knocking the hats they wore in front of the crowd. The incident took place on July 21, and within a few hours of posting, the news went viral. The lady was soon traced by trolls and is currently experiencing major backlash from netizens.
Why Did the Press Conference Take Place?
Recently, The Supreme Court passed a ruling stating that – no lead prayer or promote religious views should take place at school-sponsored events. However, State Superintendent Ryan Walters insists on Christian prayers in public schools.
The ruling received an adverse reaction from religious groups. To deal with the same, Tulsa Public School conducted a press conference where a rabbi started praying. Members of the Defense of Democracy group stepped forward to defend the Rabbi, which infuriated Roberta Pfanstiel, who then attacked and spit on them.
The original video on tiktok has received 1.1 million views since posted. Later, she was identified from her social media accounts. She is a graduate of theology, sociology, and psychology. Her recent activities are raising questions about her social worker status.
How Did the Defense of Democracy React?
After the woman was identified by the internet, they were able to locate her. However, these attempts weren’t from the Defense of Democracy. In fact, they have repeatedly urged the group’s adherents to refrain from using violence and “engage in vigilante justice” in favor of “letting the outcome unfold through proper legal channels.”
It is rumored that the Defense of Democracy will be taking legal action and wants to do things in the right way. But so far, no confirmation has been received.
