You have to be living under a rock if you don’t know Markiplier, one of the biggest stars on YouTube. The American content creator began uploading videos on YouTube in 2012.
Mark Edward Fischbach, better known by his YouTube handle Markiplier, has since achieved a stunning number of followers and wealth. He has branched out to YouTube original series and several podcasts and is on his way to producing his first theatrical film, Iron Lung.
Fans are always ready to receive an update from the creator as he has recently returned to making his usual videos. However, instead of more jolly videos, fans received a slightly disturbing tweet from Mark.
What Happened to Markiplier?
On June 29, Markiplier posted a tweet captioned, “You’ll never guess what I got for my birthday.” Two images accompanied the caption; one showed Mark with bloodshot eyes and unkempt hair, while the other showed him lying down on a hospital bed.
Fans were alarmed at the sight as many began speculating about the YouTuberโs state of health and physical well-being. To our utter dismay, no information has been revealed regarding why Mark is in a hospital.
One thing is sure whatever might have happened, Mark is being taken care of and might even be on the path to recovery. This is not Markโs first trip to the ER, as over the years, he has been hospitalized for abdominal pain, intestinal blockages, and so on.
However, the images suggest a more violent affair. Did Markiplier get involved in a fight? Did anyone beat him up unjustly? We are just not sure of the background of his injuries.
Now you might expect fans to be supportive in the comments, but the complete opposite is true. The tweet has been riddled with memes. Some of them suggest that Mark’s condition might be related to weed or alcohol consumption on the occasion of his birthday.
Some have even claimed that Markโs condition is due to the consumption of the Grimace Shake, a Mcdonaldโs shake that has inspired a viral TikTok trend.
Well, I am glad to see that fans have been taking the hospitalization pretty lightly, as the content creator would not want fans to worry about his state.
